Irgendwie passiert nichts in diesem Spiel wenn man für Licht sorgt, kann das sein? Nicht einen einzigen Jumpscare oder so gehabt. Check ich da vlt. etwas nicht? Bei anderen ist da immer voll viel Action gewesen. Oder haben die das extra getriggert indem die kein Licht oder so eingeschaltet hatten?

This game is a very challenging and extremely haunting experience. It will make you thankful for having a good (or at least decent) mental being. Probably the best horror game I've ever played and one of the best games period.

This game is, to say the least, strange — but what else can you expect from psychological horror? It’s a genre I’ve started to grow tired of, as most games are incredibly confusing, and trying to make sense of what’s going on usually leads to frustration, a headache, and eventually giving up and walking away. Visage came dangerously close to that several times. But there was still something here that kept me curious — something that made me want to know what had happened, and what was still to come. Is the game perfect? Absolutely not. The puzzles often feel needlessly convoluted, there’s a ton of backtracking, and an overwhelming amount of “trial and error.” The game doesn’t guide you at all — you have to figure everything out on your own, which can be frustrating at first since you don’t really know what rules you’re playing by. And to top it off, the game is unnecessarily long, which makes some sections feel more like padding than progress. And then there’s the classic horror logic — you can’t pick up an item behind a window because you need a crowbar, even though you’re already carrying a massive sledgehammer that could easily smash the glass. Moments like that break immersion and make the design feel a bit forced. I think this is a game worth revisiting at some point, just to tie together the loose ends from your first playthrough and gain a deeper understanding of what’s really going on. 6/10.
