love the idea of this game but it is very difficult to actually play. combat seems a bit delayed, which makes playing extremely frustrating. to make matters worse, there is little to no guidance or helpful tutorials to aid the player. after so many failed attempts it is hard to even want to continue. i think that the storyline could be really cool and i would like to play through it but the game still feels unfinished to me.
This game has a really good story and it's a great concept, but I think it definitely needs more time to be finished. The gameplay is kinda janky and it's hard to make any sort of progress without getting incredibly frustrated. I was super excited to see this game finished, but I just don't think it's there yet. Not only that, but sometimes the character will be frozen in place and I'll be in an infinite death loop. Also, the point of the game I'm on (somewhere in some swampy area with water?), I keep getting killed by things I can't even see. It's really unfair and really frustrating to playthrough. I wanted to finish the game before writing any sort of review, but I don't think I can finish it.

I can tell I will enjoy this game to the fullest. It really does represent what women and little girls go through. I myself being a teen can say it's accurate. The rush of fear I would feel in the game around the men felt the same as in real life, excluding the music. And the safety of being around other women was spot on. The only complaint is that I've seen on tiktok the little girl hugging the people who protect her. I want my hugs and yet no matter how many times I try to trigger it, it won't appear.
Honestly, the game isn't that captivating. While there's a good message behind it and I understand it, the mechanics and game-play just doesn't hold your attention.
the story is horrible the design is horrible who are these people first im in a city then a forest then a city again?! this is just crappy
I feel like it needs to be refine a bit more, especially for $10. Really cool concept, ragey gameplay but achievable. I finished it in under 3 hours. My save did seem to delete after I restarted my computer, so had to start over. Still like it. SPOILER BELOW I don't understand if the uncle is supposed to be bad, because at the end you wake up in the hospital bed and the dad is saying my uncle took care of you like i asked him to
This is at a flash game level. You probably want to see the tiktok thing yourself? Watch a playthrough, it's really not that much and you won't be bothered with all the unintentional bugs. Here is a list of them: you can boost yourself at the start of levels or during pause screen, hitboxes are boxes or circles, ground detection is lose, light is on the wrong layer. This game is also missing a proper design philosophy. Changes are suddle but break the flow, like it's missing a proper manual. To be honest, I don't get the story. It is kind of convoluted and broken up, but also implies to be meaningful.
"Stranger danger was the most destructive force in child safety"
Hard to play and just boring
I wishlisted this game due to tiktok because I thought it would be a great way to show what little girls go through sometimes and it's a decent game but not a great one. slight delay on key inputs and unclear instructions on what to do in certain levels. I did get this as a gift from a friend and I appreciate them buying it for me. however I wish I didn't wish this.
