Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

SI JUEGAS ESTE JUEGO TE DEJA SIN VIDA SOCIAL,PERO PUEDES DESMANTELAR FRANCIA,JUEGAZO
Did not enjoy a single second of playing. I've never felt this much nostalgia for a game I genuinely despise. I feel like a stupid dude and I can't run an economy. Every game hundreds of waves of rebels reform my government every three seconds, I lose 5-15 wars, and my allies switch up on me. But the soundtrack is just too immaculate for me to rate the game negatively. It just makes me feel like a dignified gentleman. 10/10, would sacrifice my firstborn for this game

This game will leave you wondering who the ♥♥♥♥ the anarcho-liberals are after they’ve sieged your capital for the twelfth time in a single playthrough.
Once you get over its [debatably] overly elaborate menus and windows and unhelpful tutorial this game is simple and enjoyable. (DO NOT PLAY THIS WITHOUT ALL OF THE DLC, YELLOW PRUSSIA WILL FRIDAY THE 13TH YOU.)
Welcome to Victoria II. We have: - Yellow Prussia - Jacobin & Socialist Revolt - 6th Opium War - camps in Yugoslavia - sPAIN & Fattoman - minor's struggle - Comet Sighted! - Event 4434, 4435, 60120, 80003
Absolutely terrible, horrendous, incomplete, filled with bugs, objectively one of the worst games to ever exist. But still better than Victoria 3 though.
This is the best victoria game in the series victoria 3 isnt real, or at least thats what I choose to believe , ♥♥♥♥ paradox greedy company always charging too much for slop. Anyway yes its a good game.
“I did not seek hegemony; it merely emerged as the most rational administrative outcome.” Victoria 2 is a masterclass in grand strategy. Its intricate simulation of 19th century politics, economics, and society creates a vast world where every decision feels meaningful and consequential. Whether it be navigating diplomacy to navigating a population with its fantastic population system: POPs. POPs... every individual belongs to a class, culture, religion, and profession and behaves dynamically based on economic conditions, political reforms, and access to goods. Slaves are definitely the worst pop type, they earn no income, don't pay taxes, and they can't promote to something more useful. Slavery is an abomination and must be destroyed. The economic system functions as a semi realistic simulation of 19th century global capitalism rather than a simple resource mechanic. You know what makes Victoria 2's economy so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool?... money itself isn't a resource, it's only a medium of exchange, meaning that you can have all the money in the world, but it won't even matter if there is nothing to buy with it. Victoria 2 models a living world market where goods are produced and distributed through specific POPs. Raw materials are gathered by POPs, such as farmers and labourers, which are then transformed into higher value goods by craftsmen working in factories, considering that with each step depends on the availability and price of inputs. What makes this system so compelling is how deeply the economy ties in the social and political systems. When it comes to POPs, different POP types buy different goods and use them for different purposes. If a POP can't get its everyday needs, it'll gain militancy and react politically. If it cannot get life needs, it'll gain even more militancy, meaning that economic mismanagement can directly trigger unrest and radicalisation. Essentially, industrialisation isn’t just about making profit it reshapes society, creating middle classes, fueling ideological movements, and shifting power away from agrarian elites. I love Victoria 2, it is a beautiful game. Few games capture the tension between industrial growth, political stability, and imperial ambition so effectively. Now, compared to the successor, Victoria 3, which streamlines many mechanics in the name of accessibility, Victoria 2 stands out as the more engaging and rewarding experience. It’s not for everyone, but for people willing to invest the time, it offers one of the richest and most intellectually engaging grand strategy experiences ever.
has a bigger map than victoria 3 and better unit interactivity and units, i like the politics play and the sliders more.
