didnt like the songs this could(should)'ve been a child's book rather than a game
A moving and emotional game about an immigrant families generational journey to remember and maintain there culture. (things that I can relate with) The core gameplay revolves around interactive cooking mechanics that beautifully drives the narrative forward, making every recipe feel meaningful rather than like a chore. It perfectly captures how things such as the sound or the aroma of a home-cooked meal can instantly trigger and bring back memories. Wrapped in a stunning art style, cozy vibes, and a phenomenal soundtrack, this is a beautifully short experience that tells a complete, impactful story without ever overstaying its welcome. "CHEFS KISS" Recommended -9/10- -Had a problem with a save-file that made me restart the game, but i didn't mind it because i had some achievement's left top unlock on a previous chapter.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game made me cry! What a beautiful game, really made me appreciate immigration even more
thought this was just about making food, but made me almost tear up like 3 times - very heartfelt story and gave a whole new real perspective of the difficulty of assimilation within indian families. i love its very raw look into immigrant families when having to move to the west for opportunity and most importantly how love can be passed down generations through food.
had some spare time this afternoon and decided to get really stoned and buy this cooking game which ive had my eye on. the story hit a personal note for me and i was in tears, i was wanting baked cooking mama not baked, cooking, mama! all jokes aside this is a beautiful game and is very moving. PLUS IT COMES WITH THE ACTUAL RECIPES!!!!!!!!!
Such a special game! Thank you developers
Wow! I was looking for a cosy cooking game and fell in love with the animation and graphic design from the store page. I was expecting a game with lots of cooking but what I got was an emotional and heartwarming story, as well as a lot of new recipes to try out. The story was immersive and the scripts are well written. The characters feel unique and fleshed out considering they don't have an insane amount of dialogue. You sympathise with the family through the story and want to hear more. The dialogue is clear and well paced between games. I didn't feel like there was too much, or too little. I thoroughly enjoyed this game, even though I expected a more cooking heavy and less story rich game, I was pleasantly surprised. I am someone who tends to skip dialogue or story modes of games and prefer more realistic sims generally, but this was truly great. Its changed my mind, and has encouraged me to try out more games like it. It was beautiful to learn about another culture in this way, through solving the puzzle of the missing parts of recipes, listening to the music and reading the story. I was completely engaged in the story and stunned by the animations. The cooking aspect of the game was simple and non- stressful, unlike a lot of cooking games I've played before. The controls were simple and there was no timer to worry about, which let you enjoy the process and take your time. I also would just like to say that I noticed the options menu animation of the spice jar being lifted and the contents of the menu was on the label of the spice jar as if you are picking it up and reading the label and I thought that was so neat and clever! This is a game that has clearly been heavily thought out and has so many beautiful details, a rich story, and simple puzzles. Its engaging, emotional, visually beautiful, relaxing ad fun. I would recommend. I am not sure if there are plans for updates in the future but I would love more recipes to play through in the future, and or a 'cooking mode' and "story mode" for when you just want to do a little cooking but already know the story. The usable recipes are a great addition to the game and I think that there is so much value in what you have created here, and I dont know how to express how gorgeous the visuals are. Great job!
