Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

I'm loving it. It is one of the best RPGs I've ever played and replayed many times. It is deep, and experience varies a lot according to chosen clan giving it excellent replayability. Unfortunately, the development company went bankrupt during development so the vanilla version is a bit cut and buggy. Luckily, there is the so called unofficial patch that fixes most of them. I also dislike that there aren't places to explore that are not quest related. There are very few places you can go and you don't have to go, and you won't find there anything. It is annoying for a modern player. This is where you can feel that this game is more than 20 years old. It is also a bit short. My first walkthrough, when I haven't have a clue where to go, what to do, took only 40 hours. If you know what you are doing, even with unofficial patch that adds some extra task to do, you can maximally finish it within 20 hours. That is not really much.

I love this game it was my introduction into the vampire masquerade world, and it was all in all just a good game if a bit short.

Maybe the best 1st person rpg of all time. Every quest feels like a personal favor, linear actions with direct impact upon the world, your every action shapes the world that you exist within. I would argue that there is little effect with your personal choices, but it greatly makes up for the variety in playing style and how you build characters. Old game but a goodie.

the game is a classic for a reason the story is good and the even though its an older game definitley worth playing.
