Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 7.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I was excited to play this game because I knew that some of my friends really like it, but as I played, I was overcome with an emotion I can only describe as... The Ick. Starting with what I did like-- the art was what originally drew me to this title! The PC-98 inspired graphics, including the chunky UI, are great, and I love the stylish portraits and character designs. The dark and brooding color palette mixed with pops of bright neon color capture the cyberpunk atmosphere well. The music is also great, and the game lets you set your own playlist and pick out your favorites to play as you tend the bar! The sound design is snappy and attention-grabbing, so overall the aesthetics are nearly perfect. The gameplay itself is also really fun. It was a little easy to make mistakes the first few tries, but after you get used to following the directions, crafting cyber-beverages is really engaging. I also like how much leeway the game gives you when making drinks-- sometimes customers will request something specific, and sometimes you can kinda give them whatever you feel is right for them based on the way they are talking! I got the Ick from the writing. At first I thought the crude jokes were funny, and then I got the feeling that there were actually a lot of crude jokes, and then I came to the realization that there seems to be ONLY crude jokes. There is no substance here. There is no commentary on the world aside from characters just saying "wow that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥, just like what I did to your mom last night". There's also a character who is built to look like a 10 year old who is very, very proud of her job as a robo-prostitute. This is handled with the same amount of levity as all the other poop and penis jokes, and that really, REALLY grossed me out. Maybe they get into her character more later on, but her introduction struck me as incredibly tone-deaf and 4chan-esque. The entire game gives off the vibes of an SNL skit that has already aged badly, and it made me uncomfortable. I'm not even a person who hates feeling uncomfortable when playing games! I'm still holding out hope for a Drakengard remaster! As for the other writing, I felt the "lore drops" were heavy handed and overly expository. The characters are all way too shallow to get attached to, and this game is very disinterested in interrogating any of the themes that make cyberpunk what it is. If it wasn't for my skin crawling, I would have stuck around to make more drinks, and eventually puttered off mildly disappointed but overwhelmingly neutral. This is the kind of game that your coworker who has "deep, dark thoughts" thinks is peak media. >"it really makes you think about the future and what people are capable of." >look inside the game >surface level coverage of a topic completely obfuscated by poorly drawn genitals.

Played this game for the first time almost 10 years ago, forgot to leave a positive review. I have replayed it several times since then, it's a perfect read just before Christmas. I don't celebrate it personally, but it's a perfect excuse to replay this game. Very pleasing setting, atmosphere. Charming cast of characters that you can treat differently and see new interactions and dialogue. Insanely good soundtrack, Garoad recently posted a new album for the 10th anniversary, please check it out. I just adore this game and everything around it. It's a unique and memorable experience, by the time it ends I feel so attached to the characters and want to see them more. The sequel N1RV Ann-A is probably never coming out by this point, and I think that's okay. No need to milk this franchise if the writers don't feel like it anymore.

I got into this game late. As in, mere months ago late. Just in time for it to turn 10 years old, lol. But I also got this game exactly when I needed it. And maybe you need it, too. This game struck a very personal chord for me. Due to its cyberpunk setting and its implied high-octane-everything-is-happening-just-outside-the-bar nature, I expected the story to be some grand tragedy or the story of how Jill Stingray was secretly the most important person in the universe. Instead, I got exactly what I needed right now. A story about a queer woman whose life is falling apart as the world itself keeps moving, and how the only way to escape that pit of depression is to rely on the people you care about. I'm a trans woman (huge shocker) and I've screwed up a billion things in my life because I was too scared to just reach out for help. It's a fatal flaw of mine, I keep myself shut off emotionally and play the character of someone who seems like they have it all together, but in reality I can't sleep at night because I can't get over thoughts of "what if." I have pretty bad insomnia because of that. This game gave me a stupidly simple answer to that issue. One I've embraced before, mind you, I didn't get to age 22 unable to talk to people, but it's the answer I needed right now. "If you keep dwelling on your mistakes, you'll just keep making them." I'm not gonna spoil HOW the game tells you that, because I want you to buy this game, but believe me, IT TELLS YOU. Every character, every piece of dialogue, every joke, every sprite, is crafted with so much intent, you'll feel like you KNOW these characters. Sure, it's a cyberpunk hellscape outside, but in here? Well that's just your weird buddy Dorothy. Or your mortal enemy, streaming-chan. VA-11 Hall-A aka Valhalla is a game worth playing. If you are reading this review, sifting through the THOUSANDS of other positive reviews, wondering if it's worth buying, just get it already. This 10-year-old game feels like it came out yesterday. None of it feels outdated in any way that matters, it just feels human in a way that is sorely missed in so many other narrative-based games. Buy this game.
Cringy edgy pervert silly and boring dialogues. If you're not 12yo anime kid, it's not even worth trying.
