Create & destroy on an unimaginable scale with a realistic physics-based space simulator. Explore the beauty of our universe and the fragility of our planet. Use science to bend the laws of gravity, collide planets, boil away oceans, fire epic space lasers, and customize your universe.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7.86/day in the week to Aug 21 → 9/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Universe Sandbox is a realistic physics-based space simulator that allows you to create, destroy, and interact on an unimaginable scale.
It merges real-time gravity, climate, collision, and material interactions to reveal the beauty of our universe and the fragility of our planet.
N-body simulation at almost any speed using Newtonian mechanics. Real science, real physics, no supercomputer required.
Epic, mind blowing collisions of massive planetary bodies that leave behind molten craters.
Start with a star, then add a planet. Spruce it up with moons, rings, comets, or even a black hole.
Watch sea ice grow and recede with the seasons because of a planet’s tilt - change the tilt and change the seasons. Or move planets close to a star and see the oceans boil away as the surface heats up.

Watch a supernova unfold by colliding two stars, cranking up their mass, or making them explode at your whim.

Hitch a ride with spacecraft including Juno and New Horizons, or view a total solar eclipse.
Build and terraform planets with 12 materials, including water, oxygen, & carbon dioxide
Stellar flares & volatile trails
Procedurally generated planets, stars, & galaxies
Pulsars
Light-warping black holes
Epic space lasers
Shape oceans & mountains on planet surfaces
Spin planets apart with centrifugal force
Original soundtrack by Macoubre
Support for 20+ languages
Share & explore simulations on Steam Workshop

Sums Steam only; Xbox, GOG, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

yay, i like this game, i can do fun stuff like collide planets, make planets, make planets, make planets, and make planets, or ruin the solar system by making mercury a blackhole
I absolutely LOVE this game! It is so fun playing universe sandbox and I can make a bunch of scenarios with it. Plus, my hardware runs it very well :)
yes
This game is Awesome! I love it.
good game wasted like idk forgot but it was a good deal
really cool
the simulation is realistic, and usxes real physics to model planetary systems. it does most of the hard work for you if you've forgotten your basic celestial mechanics.
имба когда тебя ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ всё война и бла бла бла просто издевайся над планетами советою
