Terrible. Feels like a game thrown together in FPS Creator. Boring, simplistic, and no fun at all.
$14.99 USD for this? Dude for $4.99 you can get Easy Red 2 which has 10 times the content and a bigger community, workshop, multiplayer, 3 campaigns (Anzio, Kwajalein, Kos) based on real events, And Easy Red 2 even has inventory system, planes, tanks, artillery, better AI, Easy Red 2 also runs much better, and the developer keeps adding content and fixes weekly so even if you see a bug or two you can give feedback and the developer would listen and literally fix it as soon as possible, heck even if you were net picky he'd still listen, Overall avoid United Assault - Normandy '44 and buy Easy Red 2 which is a far better WW2 game in many ways and considered to be a greater value.

Nice looking game and good concept re: sandbox WW2 FPS, but the AI is intolerably stupid.
Do. Not. Waste. Your. Money. On this.
I've been playing for about an hour and I can say I like this game. however i think the animations need some work. I also find liberating towns to be kinda difficult. Mostly because I end up running around in circles through the whole town looking for those last 2 or 3 kills...
I will say something controversial, that is even out of reach of mr BigFry's brain. If you love concept of Hell Let Loose/Squad 44(Post-Scriptum) but you are tired or overwhelmed by ''general multiplayer gameplay and mp environment'' and still want to be rewarded in Single Player as like in Multiplayer - buy this game and in particular Final Stand/Battle of Bulge expansions (they are technically better). I do understand all of the technical issues and bugs and AI issues or incompleted Q&A tests. It requires a high end PC, (DLC are running better)not only because of optimization but the size of a map - which is open-world Normandy from D-Day June 6, 1944. To contrast to it in Call of Duty games one level is per one city/village like Carentan. Then move to next map etc. In even game like Hell Let Loose - one location = one map. Here you have all at once. Despite whole the bad side it is still only one game on steam with open-world Normandy 1944, France in first person shooter category. Hell Let Loose isn't. Sniper Elite 5 isn't. If you begin misssion at coastline near Utah/Omaha sector then you can walk through all the historical famous villages and routes that D-Day, June 6 1944 stamped as allies most famous battleground. The map of Normandy and placements are accurate. Vierville, Saint Mere-Eglise, Saint Marie Du Mont, Causeway no.4 etc and dozens that I can't bring to the table without the books. This one of few reasons why I bought it and enjoy it. What I like in this projects is dynamic weather that changes like in RPG and misssion generator that spawn countless of playthroughs. The whole project by Polygon Art games to put in "nice polished ratio status" of such game like this is mostlikely "A bridge too far" for even many developers. Probably EA and Activision should unite altogether and make for example Medal of Honor (Battle Royale Single Player Open World Campaign) that then will turn the tide of Hardware requirements: 128gb of Rarm, 32 GB Video Ram, 14 core CPU and 1TB as HDD space. Minimum. I say... never say never. We will see in 10 years again....
A fun simple game. I've been playing it for awhile. Since the last update an invisible enemy shows up and cannot be killed and eventually follows me around until he kills me. All that's seen on the screen is his weapon firing and moving around. Is this a bug the designer is aware of?
The developers keep improving the game and it is worth a shot. I keep coming back. I suggest the developers look a bit more at Utah beach though, the game version is quite far from the real thing (although still fun to play).
Terrible game made my PC crash every time i played it
