one of the best vr games
Clocked in a couple hours, which is definitely not enough for this gem of a game, shared this game with family and dear GOD were they crackin' metal skulls like candy while laughing their heads off. Just mind your fighting style, listen to king and don't hold your swings. Other than that, it is a MUST PLAY!
Underdogs is a breath of fresh air when it comes to VR fighting games. Its unique take on combat and immersive visuals of the cockpit inside the Rilla is something we rarely ever get in VR! The art style is fantastic too as it strays from ultra realistic graphics other popular vr tites prefer which is nice to see, and nice for my GPU! (Which btw, I only recently upgraded to a 3070 8gb vram, from a 1070, but it still ran perfectly fine!) If I had any complaint, it would be the unfortunate genre of Roguelite which has plagued VR because its definitely harder for devs to come up with a story based VR game rather than sandbox and/or roguelite. HOWEVER! Underdogs gets right what sooo many roguelites get wrong! And that is how replayable it is. Blade and Sorcery is definitely the top game right now in terms of physics based combat, but it suffers from its roguelite mode for being way too long and way too repetetive to have any replay value, and that is where Underdogs shines! Overall rating = 4/5
