I love Fighting games, ive been playing UNI since ST since 2019, I'm still not that good at it, I still really love fighting games, this is probably my favorite one. At the very least, a really good one.

Very easy to pick up, combos are smooth and controls are intuitive (to me, a decidedly noobish FG player), system mechanics encourage interesting gameplay and the Characters are wonderfully sprited/ animated. Why did I choose Yuzuhira, help me.

The last great anime fighter with tons of distinct characters that are all fun to play. The unique GRD system is a refreshing way to incentivize offense without the braindead overpowered design of most modern fighters, while the resources for training and easing new players into the game are second to none. The online is mostly fine now, at least it has been for me, as UNI2 finally offers decent rollback. It also offers tons of character colors and other customizable unlockables, that are all free, with this version even adding a palette creator; all things you will not find in most modern fighters. UNI2 is a definite recommendation for anyone that is looking for a fighting game with tons of depth that still focuses on character strengths over universal system mechanics.
