Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 9 → 3.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Very fun. Extremely high skill-ceiling. Unique characters. Always something new to learn in this game! Highly recommend!
-Rollback Netcode. -Trials de combo. -Tem comunidade no discord da Under Night Brasil. Da última vez que eu olhei a key tava 30 pila na Eneba

kaguya and ogre very cool big enjoy
Man, people can be terrible. But I sure do like this entry. Give me more Linne
ive been playing fighting games for a while, my first one being SF2 on the snes. ive played nearly every major fg release(outside of NRS games) and even many of the smaller indie and anifighters. that being said, i consider myself a "legacy casual," as only a couple of games have come that have made me want to try to get good at them past a level of just beating my friends. i have a a little over 200 hours on ps5, 50 on switch(to play at lunch break), and only recently gotten UNI2 on steam and its my second time getting all the achievements for it. UNI2 made me want to actually get good at it. im still not, but its one of the first times in my life where i can even appreciate the smallest of victories. even when i didnt win, hey at least i finally got that CS into DP punish ive been trying for three games. i might have dropped that combo but at least i hit that anti air and attempted the conversion. but actual stuff i like: -very comprehensive tutorial. not for everyone, as its a very large text dump, but i personally like it. it takes you from the basics of the genre to the individual game mechanics and even some tech that some intermediate players likely dont utilize like fuzzies and meaties. -the progression of the combo trials allow you to think about how they are structured instead of just teaching you rote memorization. you can end up doing a combo you havent seen at a tournament you watch and say "it might not be optimal, but this is MY combo" -i love the character design and how the characters all feel pretty unique. -Raito is the goat. -stepping on people as wagner is fun. uni has always felt like a fighting game that people love and hardly anyone plays, but this is my favorite fighting game of all time.
This is a game that takes the slickness and fluidity from Melty Blood (AACC and TL, but mainly AACC) and the awesome yet somewhat execution heavy combo system from Blazblue to make an incredible fighting game with some inspiration from the aforementioned but also tons of other things that make this game unique. This game is literally Blazblue and Melty if they had a baby, although it's a lot slower paced than both of them. Every character is so unique to one another and they're all so cool that it might be REALLY hard to find a character to stick with long term for some people and it's surprisingly balanced for a modern fighting games. No matter how "weak" your character is, you still feel like you have a chance. Something else to mention is that this game is very execution heavy, even akin to games like legacy Guilty Gear (although maybe not AS hard as ACR+, it's still pretty close to Xrd). This games combo system can take a lot of getting used to, with some characters requiring 66X motions for their combos and very weird delays that'll take some getting used to. Another thing to worry about is the very unique system that I've yet to see any fighting game even come close to replicating: The Grid system. Grid (also called GRD) is a tug-of-war-like mechanic that each opponent has and you can see how many GRD blocks both of you have at the bottom of the screen. In between each opponents GRD bar is a timer that goes in a cycle that lasts every 13 seconds. You and your opponents goal is to get more GRD than one another before the cycle ends so one of you can get Vorpal State. The side who wins the cycle and gains Vorpal State gets given a 10% damage boost to all sources as well as some character specific Vorpal traits. They also gain access to the Chain Shift mechanic, which is similar to Roman Cancelling from Guilty Gear and Rapid Cancelling from Blazblue, although it's more similar to Rapid Cancelling. Chain Shift allows you to use up your Vorpal State and all your GRD blocks to cancel most of your actions and return to neutral immediately, as well as giving you meter for the amount of GRD you had before Chain Shifting. Chain Shift can be used to use reversals easier when your opponent is advantageous, can be used in combos for specific routes that require it, or even sometimes it's not a bad idea to use it before the cycle ends to get more meter. You'd be shocked how easy it is to get meter in this game. GRD is what defines Under Night In-Birth and it'd be odd to go into this game without knowing about it, especially since you have to worry about facing your opponent AND worry about winning a cycle against them at the same exact time. TL;DR Under Night In-Birth is one of my personal favorite fighting games, even before Under Night 2 released. It takes tons of things from two of my other favorite fighting games and meshes them together with a brand new system and AWESOME characters that makes this game a blast to play. I'm VERY excited to see where French Bread takes this game in future patches and new characters. I will get Vatista pregnant.
Very interesting system mechanics that are fun to play around. A mix of simple characters, freaks and very complex characters but give you so many options. You'll have plenty to sink your teeth into. Singleplayer stuff is there and is alright. Nobody is playing this game in EU tho. Or any region it seems. You'll need a homie to play with you. Discord is an option I guess to find games but it's not ideal.
yickdeeeeeee
I'm not religious, but I've prayed to God to beg for at least 3 Phonon players to suffer from horrible karma after I lost fair and square to them. 10/10 probably my favorite fighting game I own
