Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 9 → 3.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

absolute cinema. I got molested, but it's still peak
i had never even heard of any of the previous UNI games, but when this one came out i got slowly and steadily hooked, and now it's the fighting game i play more than any other, by far. let me count the ways. it's a game with strong universal defensive options in a fighting game milieu currently dominated by games that reward aggression. learning how and when to apply shield is a big part of improving at the game, so you have interesting choices to make even when it's the opponent's turn. i don't normally care for games with long combos, but the GRD tug of war is a very engaging system mechanic, and a consequence of its inclusion here is that there are some times when you might opt for combo routing that extends the length of a combo even at the expense of damage or positioning, which is an interesting choice to present to players. so the presence of long combos actually does contribute meaningfully to the strategic depth and complexity of the game, so I don't mind it nearly as much as I do in some other games. the execution requirements and difficulty are high, but the tutorials and combo trials are more comprehensive than any other fighting game i've ever seen. and i've played a lot of them. you really can learn how to play the game at a high level by just... playing the game. you don't need to visit the cognitohazard of a website that is twitter's successor to learn optimized combos; you don't have to scour incomplete or outdated wikis and the whole time have to wonder whether you can't nail that combo because you just aren't getting the timing right, or if it's because the guide was written for the game as it was two patches ago and the route doesn't actually work anymore. the game will not coddle you - it presents a mountain to climb, and then makes sure the entire path to the top is clearly marked, and well-lit at every step. and then asks you to climb it. i also find many of the characters' movesets to be inspired and unique compared to other fighting games; i have played many charge characters in many games but i have never played another fighting game character that plays like vatista does. she is on a whole other level, and becoming fluent in her playstyle completely changed how i think about and play all fighting games. ultimately, i have found UNI2 to be a very challenging but vey rewarding game. if you like the feeling that there's always more to learn, and feel edified by that process, you will find a lot to love here.
Genuinely one of if not my favorite fighting game ever. The systems are so smart, the charcters and the things they do feel so intentional, and the way everything comes together is so satisfying to play with. Barring some lackluster alternative content, this game is a fighting game players fighting game.
