Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 9 → 3.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A fighting game that actually rewards playing with good fundamentals. Not overly unga bunga.
this game is so damn good it makes me wanna merge without looking
This is possibly the high point of the anime fighting game genre. Check it out, if you ever enjoyed games like BlazBlue or Guilty Gear.

This game is good. REALLY good. It can be hard to find matches unless you join the discord community but if everyone reading this buys the game and starts playing online, problem solved! Do your part!
Easily the best fighting game out right now. Uni 2 trumps street fighter, strive, tekken, granblue, cotw, and every other 2d traditional fighter
Feels like the best parts of old Blazblue and TL put together, this series is great and I hope it never becomes what GG has
la mejor parte del juego es cuando viene hyde y dice YO SOY EL UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes
A miraculously in-depth fighting game that hasn't strayed from its 2012's roots and remained a remarkably consistent and, most importantly, fun experience. I was really worried after Type Lumina that French Bread was going to go the route of Arc Sys's new works for the sequels and dumb things down but thankfully, everything seems in tact with a lot more refinement. It's been a long time since I was actually active in UNI netplay and doubt my skills still hold up with the new meta but I still like to play offline with friends and the singleplayer is still fun as ever. The only cons I can really say relate to some of the new artistic choices. Mostly that the UI and character select screens art are a massive downgrade and I dislike the direction they are going for with that. Feels a bit too overdetailed compared to cl-r and before, which had a lovely doujin-like aesthetic that set it apart from other fighting games and had much more vibrant colors with personality and flair to them (compare the character select screens of the previous games to this one and you'll definitely see what I mean). This also contrasts with the in-game art, which still utilizes that old style and the new ui/potraits just feel jarring. On the brightside, the soundtrack received a massive upgrade and everything has be remade and retooled to perfection. No more midi bike horns, we have actual instrument sounding instruments. As for the mechanics and actual gameplay, they are, as previously stated, refined and the new mechanics fit like a glove. I really like the new moves that were added for the characters and I think celestial is a decent mechanic. It's meant to be a mechanic that seems utter bull and increases your GRD ridiculously but its not utterly intrusive or game-breaking imo besides the free meter. Other, adjacent anime fighters have had way worse mechanics (look at post-Accent Core GG, even if I love Xrd Rev2) and shoddier balance patches. In UNI2, it feels like the devs are actually a bit receptive to balance critiques but not only are they receptive, they are smart to not turn the entire game upside down for the sake of balancing to where each new update is a completely different circus and peanuts. Fingers crossed it stays that way in an era where we have most modern FG devs taking the braindead monkey with hammer approach to game balance (although French Bread seems to have learned from Type Lumina for now to not do that). All in all, UNI is a remarkably fantastic, consistent, and fun series of fighting games and in most areas, UNI2 improves and delivers with only a few minor drawbacks. A lot of my more serious FGC friends both online and off have stated that its the best current gen fighting game on the market and I wholeheartedly agree, even if it might just be because the other studios decided to run amok with extremely odd gameplay choices. UNI has always been one of my favorites and I think its cemented status as the current favorite for me personally is a testament to the fact that you don't have to brainlessly "innovate" or seek out new audiences intentionally to create an exciting experience. Something that bugs me with modern FGs is that they carelessly strip or add mechanics that either extremely dumbs down or needlessly complicates, usually the former first then "correcting" themselves to the later while both versions still feeling like a completely different game than the golden age of whatever franchise (See: Tekken, GG, SF, MK,) so the fact that UNI opts for polish rather than leftfield turns feels extremely refreshing and honestly necessary. Often times the approach feels reminiscent of Blazblue's and the similarities can easily be drawn with Melty being the legacy franchise (aka the GG). I do think that UNI will grow its popularity over time and become a bigger mainstay than it already is. Ironically, its also a game I would recommend for both beginners and veterans of FGs alike. The tutorial mode is actually decent from what I remember so give this game a shot to see how your mileage fares.
If you like anime fighting games, this is like THE anime fighting game. Also they allow you to customize the colors for every character, and not some mk11 bs like I deadass made every character black as soon as I got the game. 10/10
