About
You know, when you explain an idea, the idea fundamentally changes.
UNBEATABLE is an anime-juiced rhythm adventure where you (figuratively) destroy on stage while you (literally) destroy on stage. During rhythm gameplay, you only need two buttons: a button for up and a button for down. Simple to understand! The complicated part is doing it. Try not to get destroyed yourself.
Half the game is walking around and taking things at your own pace. The other half is trying to keep up with ours.
The pink-haired girl is Beat, and she is you, and you have a lot of things to worry about. The cops are everywhere, and they are mad at you for what feels like no good reason. Though it doesn't help your case that you keep making friends with people that the cops are mad at for slightly better reasons. But what do I know?
Talk to people, help them out (or don't, I'm not your mom!), play huge concerts, and punch cops. And then run away from the cops you punched. Also there are monsters or something. Not sure what's going on there?!?!
All of this culminates in massive setpieces where everything is at stake. The music got you here. It'll get you through it.
*if this was 1999 this section would be called "talk the talk and rock the rock"
UNBEATABLE's full arcade mode is an entire game by itself with its own progression system and a full online component. There's modifiers, tons of songs (with more to come!) and a whole challenge board to beat, with things to do that range from as simple as "beat a song on easy mode" to, one may presume, something as complicated as "solve an ancient riddle while skateboarding." That's not a real example.
**if this was 1999 this section would be called "party like it's now"
FEATURES:
Story Mode: 6-8 hours. Arcade Mode: UNLIMITED
Characters that hate you!
Maybe also some that don't!
The arcade mode has a cute little profile you can customize and unlock stuff for and I think that's pretty neat
Graphics! We'd describe them but I mean it's right there, you can see it
A whole entire double album worth of original songs
plus acoustic versions of those songs
oh and also remixes, too
You can unlock all the songs by playing the narrative OR just by playing the arcade game exclusively! Great for those who truly hate stories
Something (in this game) will make you feel something (in real life)!
It's anime
If you think about it, QTEs are basically just rhythm games with no music
Please, whatever you do, the title is either all caps or no caps. Be kind to us.
And the idea changes you in return.

No doubt the soundtrack and visual design/aesthetics carry this game. You can tell the devs care about this game based on those two factors alone, but I wish they would put as much effort into everything else. Also, It really rubs me the wrong way seeing the devs push DLC for this game when the base game in its current state feels amateur and buggy. The rhythm aspect feels like an afterthought, which is sad considering it's the core of the gameplay. I turned off a lot of the screen shaking and visual effects, but the camera movement still causes huge whiplash and is enough to give me major motion sickness while playing. The timing window also feels.. not great for a rhythm game, even with adjustments. In the actual story mode, several of the rhythm sections are bugged during transition scenes which has contributed to the motion sickness I've experienced so far. Considering how much of the game is devoted to story compared to the relatively small amount of time spent actually playing the rhythm segments, these visual issues come across as unpolished and a massive oversight. It would be one thing if these bugs were limited to the arcade mode. Obviously that still wouldn't be ideal, but at least it's an optional mode. Instead they're appearing in the main story where players only spend a few minutes in each rhythm section per act. With so little gameplay in those segments, it really makes me wonder why exactly more care wasn't put into ensuring those sections were polished before release, especially considering I'm writing this review months after the initial release of the game. The characters are charming, but many scenes that feel like they are in need of voice acting are left unvoiced. My experience with the story would probably be more positive had the entire game included voice acting in every scene. The pacing in the story feels disjointed (if not janky) and downright boring at times. These issues ultimately overshadowed what would be a positive recommendation based on game aesthetics alone. However, aesthetics cannot carry a game when its issues are so blaringly obvious and in your face to the point that they diminish a player's overall enjoyment.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Unbeatable is a rhythm game similar to Muse Dash with the gameplay consisting of beating up creatures called The Silence (and cops) The story mode is a heartfelt journey of the band Unbeatable which consists of Beat, Quaver, Treble and Clef and their fight against the Silence (the weird creatures you beat up during gameplay) and the group of cops HARM. The Arcade mode is where the bulk of the gameplay is however, here you can play every story mode song after unlocking them and a lot of DLC tracks such as remixes of other game songs and (with the most recent DLC) a selection of Jamie Paige tracks (some good picks too such as Rot for Clout and I wish that i could fall). Can also customise characters used during songs and the stage (personally went with Quaver for most songs) Overall a 8/10 game
Unbeatable. It is the fist game to ever have a story that made me cry. It is a experience that is second to none, it makes you think about that deep emotions that you feel even the onces you so hard attempt to deny. It made me think about emotions that i didnt even realize i had . Unbeatable is a story about los a story that everyone experienced in their own way, this truly was our unbeatable and i couldnt recommend the game more from the music to the story to the little things you can find if you explore.
I went into the game expecting a rhythm game, and yeah, it definitely is one (a good one!), and while the rhythm part is very fun, the story is, in my opinion, what really kept me going. And the music too. The story can be quite confusing, but taking it slow and enjoying what it gives, even reading a bit into the lore, can really help and man is it a good experience. Much of the dialogue (and monologue), and small tidbits of detail sprinkled around feels so natural and humane, making it easier to feel a part of the journey. And ofcourse, the artstyle is amazing as well. It's very visually apealing while managing to appear simplistic, but still getting tons of feelings across. The gameplay was NOT what I was expecting, exclusively looking at that and not the story. I went into the game having briefly looked over the store page, and I may just be ignorant, but I atleast didn't get the slighty adventureous and even more slightly platformy game, but it was a pleasant surprise. Without spoiling, the different acts never felt large enough to get boring, but still had a size to where you potentially could miss stuff. Some parts I even wish were expanded more upon. The rhythm gameplay was closer to what I thought the game would ONLY be about. It feels different from what else I've played (though I haven't played too many diverse rhythm games), and it isn't hingent on a single type of layout, but multiple different forms of playing to the rhythm. And then the music. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it good. It really fits whatever narrative the game is currently trying to disclose and it does it amazingly. In a world where music is banned, they sure know how to play. Again, very, very good music. All of this without mentioning Arcade Mode, which is apparently a whole other game (that you get with the purchase of Unbeatable!). Read other reviews about it. Seems like that alone is worth the price.
爽!太爽!爽飞了! 我大概这辈子也忘不掉unbeatable了
Its chills
前期节奏稍慢 后期世界架构拼接完成 今年最好玩的单机游戏 很喜欢的复古画风+个人喜欢的贝斯电吉他摇滚 结尾曲很好听 maybe it's the parts we never let go of that make life worth living, maybe they're what make us UNBEATABLE.
