About
You know, when you explain an idea, the idea fundamentally changes.
UNBEATABLE is an anime-juiced rhythm adventure where you (figuratively) destroy on stage while you (literally) destroy on stage. During rhythm gameplay, you only need two buttons: a button for up and a button for down. Simple to understand! The complicated part is doing it. Try not to get destroyed yourself.
Half the game is walking around and taking things at your own pace. The other half is trying to keep up with ours.
The pink-haired girl is Beat, and she is you, and you have a lot of things to worry about. The cops are everywhere, and they are mad at you for what feels like no good reason. Though it doesn't help your case that you keep making friends with people that the cops are mad at for slightly better reasons. But what do I know?
Talk to people, help them out (or don't, I'm not your mom!), play huge concerts, and punch cops. And then run away from the cops you punched. Also there are monsters or something. Not sure what's going on there?!?!
All of this culminates in massive setpieces where everything is at stake. The music got you here. It'll get you through it.
*if this was 1999 this section would be called "talk the talk and rock the rock"
UNBEATABLE's full arcade mode is an entire game by itself with its own progression system and a full online component. There's modifiers, tons of songs (with more to come!) and a whole challenge board to beat, with things to do that range from as simple as "beat a song on easy mode" to, one may presume, something as complicated as "solve an ancient riddle while skateboarding." That's not a real example.
**if this was 1999 this section would be called "party like it's now"
FEATURES:
Story Mode: 6-8 hours. Arcade Mode: UNLIMITED
Characters that hate you!
Maybe also some that don't!
The arcade mode has a cute little profile you can customize and unlock stuff for and I think that's pretty neat
Graphics! We'd describe them but I mean it's right there, you can see it
A whole entire double album worth of original songs
plus acoustic versions of those songs
oh and also remixes, too
You can unlock all the songs by playing the narrative OR just by playing the arcade game exclusively! Great for those who truly hate stories
Something (in this game) will make you feel something (in real life)!
It's anime
If you think about it, QTEs are basically just rhythm games with no music
Please, whatever you do, the title is either all caps or no caps. Be kind to us.
And the idea changes you in return.

Wow. This was an interesting experience. Bad first - OVERWRITTEN. There is a great story here, that needs about 4 hours of filler removed. Everyone talks TOO MUCH. (Gets particularly bad towards the end). There is a lot of underdevelopment of the supporting characters, which leads to limp conclusions and unsatisfying reveals/interactions. We spend final moments with characters we only spoke to once and almost none with our "bandmates." Lastly - the rhythm sections (story mode) needs some refining. Beats and actions don't match, leading to fails. Confusing, randomly added mini games and for some reason when you fail (which you will, there are sections you can not retry. IN a rhythm game??) Oh and the dialogue gets wonky. Like, some moments there are voiceovers and then randomly there is not. Text boxes appear over each other, people cut each other off awkwardly. THE GOOD - The music when it comes to pivotal moments is BANGER. Good songs throughout that get you excited when the story drags. That train sequence is TOP NOTCH. The character designs and visuals a la "storybook" style are cool (only occasionally bland) and make for a world that you want to spend time in. Overall, I would catch this game on sale as the price is a little high for what you actually get, but the game makes for an excellent addition (for the music alone) with a 50% or more discount. For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Un petit jeu imparfait, mais très humain Je ne regrette pas un seul euro sorti de ma poche pour y jouer 10/10 would cry again
unbeatable or UNBEATABLE
I'm usually a gameplay over story player regardless of the game. But this game takes the cake for my favorite game of all time. Based entirely on the story (even though the gameplay is very fun) I can say this is worth your purchase. I rarely ever cry at games, maybe I'll get choked up. For some reason this game had a grip on my heart strings more than once throughout playing it. Pros: The music!! I love the music!!! (Obviously). My biggest problem I have with music in games is that they feel polished. But *too* polished. As a musician myself (Not very good admittedly), I really appreciate the raw underground feel a lot of the music in this game gives off. Not to say it's bad, no no not at all. It's amazing, it feels authentic, and not like some corporate level band with thousands of dollars behind their namesakes. It feels like real music, it's a little difficult to put into words. So I wont, just play the game. The characters: Not just the designs either, the way they move. The dialogue, and interactions made me want more of the game after I was finished. It felt like cowboy bebop, wasn't sure at first if it would live up to the hype. But after my first watch, I felt myself craving more time with the cast. So I went back, and watched it. Again, and again, and again. I get the feeling of wanting more, in a mostly bite sized world. Which adds to the enjoyment, there are so many little things to get from playing this game again if you want to know more about the world and it's lore. Replayability: If you are a fan of gameplay like me, the arcade mode is SO FUN! I used to play osu back in the day, and I've only recently got into rhythm games. Much of my free time has been spent playing the arcade mode trying to unlock new songs, and titles. The vibe: The art direction, story writers, animators, song writers, composers, and directors. Everyone involved in this project deserves an S++++ for presentation. This game has a specific, rebellious style to it that is so charming. It's not afraid to show off, it's very loud and imperfect in a perfect way. So much of the atmosphere in this game is crafted with love and care. Even down to the little things you won't see unless you look carefully. Plenty of spots that I would love to relax irl. Cons: Not necessarily anything heinous, just a few minor issues from a personal perspective. 1. A few sections (Baseball bat ones) have a few timing issues that can be slightly frustrating. (Probably just a skill issue on my part though). But these sections were still very fun to get through. 2. Sometimes character dialogue boxes appear over one another, it's rarely ever enough to break immersion. Just a little annoying. I also noticed they seem to overlap each other timing wise if you spam a to try and skip dialogue. (Only reason I did was because I kept having to redo a section because I suck.) Verdict: I got this game on sale, but is it worth full price? IMHO, ABSOLUTELY! I'd pay $50 for it in a heartbeat, and it's only 30! I don't give games ratings often, and when I do it's rarely a 10/10. This game is without a doubt, a 10/10 for me. I will be playing more as well.
although the title may confuse newcomers, the game is in fact beatable
Been waiting since White Label, then waited a while longer for some of the polishing before finally playing with 2.0. Well worth that wait (it's peak).
hell yeah
its good i think thats really all that needs to be said. i think it would be antithetical to say its perfect because nothing is perfect but if i had to call anything perfect it would be this first maybe. or second.
Amazing story, gameplay and art is beautiful. the way you have to play is creative and its a unique style I've never seen and had to learn and it kept my attention to the game.
this game killed my entire family and stole all my money
