About
You know, when you explain an idea, the idea fundamentally changes.
UNBEATABLE is an anime-juiced rhythm adventure where you (figuratively) destroy on stage while you (literally) destroy on stage. During rhythm gameplay, you only need two buttons: a button for up and a button for down. Simple to understand! The complicated part is doing it. Try not to get destroyed yourself.
Half the game is walking around and taking things at your own pace. The other half is trying to keep up with ours.
The pink-haired girl is Beat, and she is you, and you have a lot of things to worry about. The cops are everywhere, and they are mad at you for what feels like no good reason. Though it doesn't help your case that you keep making friends with people that the cops are mad at for slightly better reasons. But what do I know?
Talk to people, help them out (or don't, I'm not your mom!), play huge concerts, and punch cops. And then run away from the cops you punched. Also there are monsters or something. Not sure what's going on there?!?!
All of this culminates in massive setpieces where everything is at stake. The music got you here. It'll get you through it.
*if this was 1999 this section would be called "talk the talk and rock the rock"
UNBEATABLE's full arcade mode is an entire game by itself with its own progression system and a full online component. There's modifiers, tons of songs (with more to come!) and a whole challenge board to beat, with things to do that range from as simple as "beat a song on easy mode" to, one may presume, something as complicated as "solve an ancient riddle while skateboarding." That's not a real example.
**if this was 1999 this section would be called "party like it's now"
FEATURES:
Story Mode: 6-8 hours. Arcade Mode: UNLIMITED
Characters that hate you!
Maybe also some that don't!
The arcade mode has a cute little profile you can customize and unlock stuff for and I think that's pretty neat
Graphics! We'd describe them but I mean it's right there, you can see it
A whole entire double album worth of original songs
plus acoustic versions of those songs
oh and also remixes, too
You can unlock all the songs by playing the narrative OR just by playing the arcade game exclusively! Great for those who truly hate stories
Something (in this game) will make you feel something (in real life)!
It's anime
If you think about it, QTEs are basically just rhythm games with no music
Please, whatever you do, the title is either all caps or no caps. Be kind to us.
And the idea changes you in return.

I found the demo for this game in 2023, and immediately fell in love with the design of the game. And now it's fully released and I love it even more. This is the first game where the main character is actually real and relatable with how I feel. I've always had trouble with expressing how I feel, and not being able to help people properly and supporting them with what they're dealing with. This game has helped me with changing the way I think about certain things, and I know for sure that this game will always have a place in my heart. That I need to appreciate my friends and family more. Any day, anytime my life could end, so I need to make the most of it by doing what I love, that is, when I figure that out. And to actually show my love towards people, so that when I die they can actually say and know in their hearts that I loved them. This game is not what I expected it to be when I played the demo, but I'm glad it became what it is, and I'm happy this game exists, so that more people can experience and (hopefully) relate with it and help them as it did with me. Best story/rhythm game I've ever played. <3

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 30.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 26.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Honestly the greatest game I've had the pleasure of playing. While the story is shorter than I would like it to be, it is a heavy-hitter that deserves the praise. The actual arcade/song mode makes up for the shorter story, giving hours of replayability, that I have yet to reach a high amount of hours for. For a gaming pc, the arcade mode can be handled with ease at 1080p, or fairly well at 4K, (albeit with a 4070 Super). Though I finished the story before other optimizations came, it fared well. For lower performance, my 10 year old laptop can handle arcade mode on lower settings and an even lower resolution (though still recognizable to play.) The story mode; however, is a different thing. The environment makes it hard to play the story, if it doesn't crash or overheat. All in all, this changed my life. ❤️💚 also jamie paige dlc soon
What a ride. So raw and utterly sincere, it is a narrative first and and only turns into a "plain" rhythm game once you enter arcade mode. Before then, the story mode surpasses what a rhythm game even can be and brings poignant, unapologetic writing with a lot to say, nay, ask, cause it sure doesn't pretend to have all the answers.
genuinely one of the best games i've played in a long, long time. the soundtrack is immaculate, the story and characters are super fun, and the gameplay is addicting as hell. i'm not normally a fan of rhythm games but there's something about this that keeps me coming back for more.
Oh god, it's good.
going into this game basically blind is such a special experience, what an incredible work narratively from the jump. Soundtrack? Also whips incredibly hard front to back. Like. even as someone who is "quite bad" at rhythm games its an incredible time. have sunk way more time than expected just grinding out trying to get higher and higher FC tracks. Truly, if you lock in you can do anything
indie games that change your perspective on life
So I got this game around launch in December, and I'd been anticipating it since 2021. For 5 years, my expectations kept building and my excitement grew. And you know what? It more than reached those expectations. Yeah, it's a little rough around the edges, but this game's story spoke to me in a way that no other game has in recent memory. It's actually made me rethink where I am and where I'm going in life. I haven't been able to stop thinking about this game for 6 months, and I've had its soundtrack on repeat for just as long. Play it. I mean it.
i love commiting crimes
