About
You know, when you explain an idea, the idea fundamentally changes.
UNBEATABLE is an anime-juiced rhythm adventure where you (figuratively) destroy on stage while you (literally) destroy on stage. During rhythm gameplay, you only need two buttons: a button for up and a button for down. Simple to understand! The complicated part is doing it. Try not to get destroyed yourself.
Half the game is walking around and taking things at your own pace. The other half is trying to keep up with ours.
The pink-haired girl is Beat, and she is you, and you have a lot of things to worry about. The cops are everywhere, and they are mad at you for what feels like no good reason. Though it doesn't help your case that you keep making friends with people that the cops are mad at for slightly better reasons. But what do I know?
Talk to people, help them out (or don't, I'm not your mom!), play huge concerts, and punch cops. And then run away from the cops you punched. Also there are monsters or something. Not sure what's going on there?!?!
All of this culminates in massive setpieces where everything is at stake. The music got you here. It'll get you through it.
*if this was 1999 this section would be called "talk the talk and rock the rock"
UNBEATABLE's full arcade mode is an entire game by itself with its own progression system and a full online component. There's modifiers, tons of songs (with more to come!) and a whole challenge board to beat, with things to do that range from as simple as "beat a song on easy mode" to, one may presume, something as complicated as "solve an ancient riddle while skateboarding." That's not a real example.
**if this was 1999 this section would be called "party like it's now"
FEATURES:
Story Mode: 6-8 hours. Arcade Mode: UNLIMITED
Characters that hate you!
Maybe also some that don't!
The arcade mode has a cute little profile you can customize and unlock stuff for and I think that's pretty neat
Graphics! We'd describe them but I mean it's right there, you can see it
A whole entire double album worth of original songs
plus acoustic versions of those songs
oh and also remixes, too
You can unlock all the songs by playing the narrative OR just by playing the arcade game exclusively! Great for those who truly hate stories
Something (in this game) will make you feel something (in real life)!
It's anime
If you think about it, QTEs are basically just rhythm games with no music
Please, whatever you do, the title is either all caps or no caps. Be kind to us.
And the idea changes you in return.

Reviews
I normally do not leave game reviews, but I felt like this had to be an exception... this game is a MUST play for anyone who genuinely cares for art, ESPECIALLY music. The passion and dedication the team had for this game was evident my entire time playing through the main campaign; the aesthetics, music, story, and gameplay came together in a true example of "total art." Thank you to the team who made this game. It's a perfect 10... PLAY IT!!
For the reference, I didn't play arcade (yet?), I'm in the lasth third of the story according to the internet. As a game Unbeatable just doesn't work. Yes, it shows a lot of ideas, love, style, but very little game and fun. The biggest killer is extremly bad pacing, I can't imagine story mode passing any sort of test play beside developers playing it themselfs. When you are trying to get some fun and search for next section that requires some reaction from the player you randomly walk around maze like collection of screens like some DOS era adventure game and hunt for hot-spots, places where you will be able to click a button and something will happen. That in 80% means you will listen to random dialoge that may or may not have any relevance. Each act is around 2 hours long (it feels much longer when you have so much fun ...) and then when barely anything happens you are entertained with 2 minutes "credites" like you just finished 150h long Elden Ring walkhrough. Credits are same 5 names written in 50 different combinations ... It doens't make or break the game, but it is perfect example of "we have great idea how to set mood and style" placed in a game with no feeling or meaning. I see the effort and creative sparks, but it it just not something that should be released yet, let alone sold for almost 30 euros. At 5€ it would still be bad game, but at least have realistic price.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I thought it was just a goofy rhythm game with a cool story. Turns out its one of the coolest stories I've ever played with lots of emotions and even more relatability (and confusion). The ending had me buffed hard. Safe to say I recommend this to everyone.
如果你是为了剧情模式来的,不是很建议,比较粗糙(个人观点,有落差)
I don't remember the last time a game broke me the way the ending did here. I could barely see through the tears, what a story.
As someone that hasn't touch a rhythm game since playing Guitar Hero a few times as a kid, UNBEATABLE has gotten me to enjoy rhythm games again. It has a phenomenal art style and a rather fun but sometimes quirkily broken story mode that makes you feel the passion that was put into this game. It's arcade mode is packed with tons of great songs that hit even harder with the story beats most of them go along with. I'm not usually good at writing reviews so mine doesn't do it justice enough. If you can find my friend Great Hero J's review he goes into much better detail about how good this game is.
this game changed my life not a joke
Story is great, visuals are great, gameplay is great, pacing is weird. Game is great.
