About
You know, when you explain an idea, the idea fundamentally changes.
UNBEATABLE is an anime-juiced rhythm adventure where you (figuratively) destroy on stage while you (literally) destroy on stage. During rhythm gameplay, you only need two buttons: a button for up and a button for down. Simple to understand! The complicated part is doing it. Try not to get destroyed yourself.
Half the game is walking around and taking things at your own pace. The other half is trying to keep up with ours.
The pink-haired girl is Beat, and she is you, and you have a lot of things to worry about. The cops are everywhere, and they are mad at you for what feels like no good reason. Though it doesn't help your case that you keep making friends with people that the cops are mad at for slightly better reasons. But what do I know?
Talk to people, help them out (or don't, I'm not your mom!), play huge concerts, and punch cops. And then run away from the cops you punched. Also there are monsters or something. Not sure what's going on there?!?!
All of this culminates in massive setpieces where everything is at stake. The music got you here. It'll get you through it.
*if this was 1999 this section would be called "talk the talk and rock the rock"
UNBEATABLE's full arcade mode is an entire game by itself with its own progression system and a full online component. There's modifiers, tons of songs (with more to come!) and a whole challenge board to beat, with things to do that range from as simple as "beat a song on easy mode" to, one may presume, something as complicated as "solve an ancient riddle while skateboarding." That's not a real example.

FEATURES:
Story Mode: 6-8 hours. Arcade Mode: UNLIMITED
Characters that hate you!
Maybe also some that don't!
The arcade mode has a cute little profile you can customize and unlock stuff for and I think that's pretty neat
Graphics! We'd describe them but I mean it's right there, you can see it
A whole entire double album worth of original songs
plus acoustic versions of those songs
oh and also remixes, too
You can unlock all the songs by playing the narrative OR just by playing the arcade game exclusively! Great for those who truly hate stories
Something (in this game) will make you feel something (in real life)!
It's anime
If you think about it, QTEs are basically just rhythm games with no music
Please, whatever you do, the title is either all caps or no caps. Be kind to us.
And the idea changes you in return.

画风很喜欢。 但除了这点,剧情莫名其妙,对话多,地图没指引,只能乱找。完了1小时,只遇到一次音乐关卡。也是醉了
Despite the name, UNBEATABLE is, in fact, beatable. And despite having some rough edges, a few frustrating moments, and some bugs here and there, once you do "beat" it, you'll realize what you just witnessed was nothing short of a masterpiece. Because a gem is still a gem despite its roughness. This game has it all: an absolute PEAK soundtrack, INCREDIBLE animation that literally looks pulled straight out of an anime, and the exaggerated swagger of a pink-haired teenager doing crimes. It absolutely OOZES with style and, more than anything, raw, unfiltered passion. It's that passion that really shines through in the art, in the music, and in the story. From start to finish, UNBEATABLE is a celebration of everything artistic. It is a statement that, despite how dire things may seem and how utterly aimless you might find yourself in life, how empty or meaningless you may feel, you can always make it through. You can always BEAT it. Jokes aside, the last chapter has some of the best story and music sequences I've ever seen. I think I was crying for like 30 minutes straight before and after the game had finished. Also, the menu screen changes based on the story and literally every game that does that is an absolute masterpiece. What else do I have to say?

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I knew almost immediately that this was a game I would recommend. The art and presentation are incredible. The music is transcendent. It's unlike anything I've ever played before. Throughout my playthrough, I was thinking of all the asterisks I could add to my recommendation. There are some unpolished aspects, even if that adds to the game's charm. The rhythm gameplay itself wasn't too gripping. Then I finished the story and cried more than I have in a long time and I have one important asterisk for my recommendation. If you buy this game, you have to finish the story. You have to. I highly recommend you buy this game. It has the best and funniest use of achievements I've ever seen. It has lines that my friends and I have already been quoting ad nauseum. It has many of the most heart-rending and relatable characters I've ever met in a video game. It has Memorized.
This is not a story about love. But it is a story regarding that which has been lost and is still to be found. While there may be slight issues with load time or frame lag at random moments, it occurs few and far between through my playtime. UNBEATABLE contains so many songs that you would never have thought you could hear and blends them beautifully into a rhythm game and story, not to mention the astounding works created by other artists and feature in the Arcade Mode. I'm not much of a rhythm game player but I still love them and would definitely recommend it to other rhythm game players who enjoy a story with playable songs and minigames throughout.
Holy peak
I just received this game as a gift, and I wanted to enjoy it, I genuinely did. But I am about an hour in and utterly disappointed. I adore the art style, the voice acting, and the rhythm segments are fun! But I barely got the chance to be able to play through them because they seemed to have put more emphasis on the story mode. Which, as a fan of rhythm games, is kind of a bummer for me. But I could forgive that if the game would actually run properly. In its current state, it is a buggy mess. It freezes at random intervals and forces me to quit to the main menu and try to return back into the story mode. Then plays fine for a while before bugging out AGAIN. And AGAIN. I've encountered more glitches and bugs and mechanical issues than actual rhythm based gameplay at this point and that genuinely upsets me enough to request a refund. It's that bad. And I refuse to endure and constantly quit and resume the game just to play it. It feels like a lot of love was put into this game and could have been great if not for all the technical issues.
as a rhythm game, i really like the different rhythm games.. or rhythm minigames or something in the story mode, i wish there was a way to play them outside of that. the arcade mode is like a standard rhythm game, which if is what you are looking for, is good. go listen to the music. so the story. it's messy. it kind of drags you along in the first two episodes, which is, well, a 3rd of the story, though by the third episode, everything starts making more sense and onward. still, the story keeps jumping over explaining how or why some things happen? bugs and some design choices often chip away at you while you try to enjoy the story. those are the not fun parts. those aside, i finished the game literally just now and i don't know what to say about the ending yet. but the dialogue is really good. it's the most consistent part of the writing, and it's impactful. it almost makes up for the flaws of the storytelling. this, and the flaws, though, makes the game feel especially real, like, a creation made with a little of every kind of thing their creators are, and that feels nice. that and the art (including the visual variety) also speaks for the story. though i really wouldn't complain if the bugs were fixed i rate 4/5 stars
Game is genuinely one of my all time favorite not just rhythm games, but games overall.
i am otherworldly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at this game and i love it
The story has, insanely slow pacing at the begining, you could cut the entirety of chapter 2 and the story would still be consitant, yet doesn't mean the story is bad. It has a good resolutions, with well written characters and really good voice acting. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love clef
