About
You know, when you explain an idea, the idea fundamentally changes.
UNBEATABLE is an anime-juiced rhythm adventure where you (figuratively) destroy on stage while you (literally) destroy on stage. During rhythm gameplay, you only need two buttons: a button for up and a button for down. Simple to understand! The complicated part is doing it. Try not to get destroyed yourself.
Half the game is walking around and taking things at your own pace. The other half is trying to keep up with ours.
The pink-haired girl is Beat, and she is you, and you have a lot of things to worry about. The cops are everywhere, and they are mad at you for what feels like no good reason. Though it doesn't help your case that you keep making friends with people that the cops are mad at for slightly better reasons. But what do I know?
Talk to people, help them out (or don't, I'm not your mom!), play huge concerts, and punch cops. And then run away from the cops you punched. Also there are monsters or something. Not sure what's going on there?!?!
All of this culminates in massive setpieces where everything is at stake. The music got you here. It'll get you through it.
*if this was 1999 this section would be called "talk the talk and rock the rock"
UNBEATABLE's full arcade mode is an entire game by itself with its own progression system and a full online component. There's modifiers, tons of songs (with more to come!) and a whole challenge board to beat, with things to do that range from as simple as "beat a song on easy mode" to, one may presume, something as complicated as "solve an ancient riddle while skateboarding." That's not a real example.
**if this was 1999 this section would be called "party like it's now"
FEATURES:
Story Mode: 6-8 hours. Arcade Mode: UNLIMITED
Characters that hate you!
Maybe also some that don't!
The arcade mode has a cute little profile you can customize and unlock stuff for and I think that's pretty neat
Graphics! We'd describe them but I mean it's right there, you can see it
A whole entire double album worth of original songs
plus acoustic versions of those songs
oh and also remixes, too
You can unlock all the songs by playing the narrative OR just by playing the arcade game exclusively! Great for those who truly hate stories
Something (in this game) will make you feel something (in real life)!
It's anime
If you think about it, QTEs are basically just rhythm games with no music
Please, whatever you do, the title is either all caps or no caps. Be kind to us.
And the idea changes you in return.

Reviews
I literally don't even know what to say, this game is so unbeatably incredible, it needs more people to play it. This game was so good in a way I don't have the words to describe. "You just said some." "Not any good ones."
Crea y expresate.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

the BEST game i have ever played, no doubt in my mind there are really no words i can say that give this game justice, just a few things i would like to point out that i really found amazing - the story, gameplay, music & visuals (which is basically everything...) 1000/10 written after finishing story mode that being said however... i do have one complaint... i just feel like the ending leaves a little more to be desired (imo), not saying its bad at all but just saying it could have more, still amazing tho would love to see more updates or DLC's to continue the story, but thats not going to happen lol
while i do love the game and the concept, i wouldnt tell anyone to get it for the full price, at least. the artstyle is gorgeous and the songs are really good, but honestly -- its just so difficult to do literally anything. the rhythm games feel janky and throw you in when you dont really expect it, and i feel like theres a lack of guidance through some of them. sometimes i legit just cannot understand what im supposed to do, because it almost feels like the game expects you to just know the story mode is so confusing, i'm almost finished with the story and i can't tell you what it's about. maybe i'm just stupid, but i feel like the game tries to build up stories that uncover overtime, but they dont uncover in a way that makes you able to keep track of them, if that makes sense ?? it makes it very boring, honestly. i often find myself zoning out or multi tasking when theres lots of dialogue because it just feels like the characters are saying so much but not actually saying anything not to mention the dialogue and cutscenes feel so broken. characters talk over each other weirdly every now and then, cutscenes feel out of place and not connected, in any way, and theres also a weird bug ( ? ) where the game just pauses for a good while before it loads a cutscene. not sure if thats an issue for others, but it has been one for me the entire time and its annoying. like, i'd finish a minigame or smth, and the characters would just stand there in silence for a good 10 seconds before it continues. theres also just a lot of bugs in general, its not unplayable but its also not satisfying to play the camera is also so broken and weird. ive experienced it just not working multiple times. like, i'd walk into an area that's supposed to trigger the camera switching angles, and then it just doesn't do that. usually, when i get a new game -- i often play it for hours straight to get into it. but with this one, i usually only play for an hour max because its just so unsatisfying and confusing. the only reason i keep going anyway is because ive been looking forward to this game since the demo, and i can tell that it does have a lot of care put behind it. i will catch up on the lore through a youtube video or something, because the concept of everything DOES have me hooked. but you shouldnt have to go on youtube for an explanation video to get the story. i have many other issues with it aswel, however -- i feel other reviews explain everything way better than me, probably. idk i wouldnt say i dont recommend it at ALL. try it out of you think its your type of game, my review isnt really meant to keep people away. i just personally couldnt enjoy it as much as i wished i could. and i think most of it is the fault of me just being stupid </3 i will be trying to 100% complete this game, however :)
UBEATABLE is my #1 "what-if" game of all time. It is absolutely *dripping* with style, and it's full of so many inspired moments. The development team must have poured their souls into this. Briefly, it gets at the space around an idea that I've felt but never heard described before. That moment alone makes me glad I played it, and I don't think I'll ever forget the game. But...it feels like it's built out of popsicle sticks and glue. It's half-baked and overcooked at the same time. The story starts really, really slowly. Running around the environments is awkward, confusing, and annoying. The automatic camera movement mostly works. The game has typos. The voice acting cuts in and out, and it's hard to tell if certain lines are meant to be voiced but it's just bugged, or if they actually only recorded half the lines for a scene. Sometimes the text and voices differ in trivial ways. I played on expert difficulty, and there were only 3 songs I had to try more than once. One of them I had to try close to a hundred times and the other two took me under 5 tries. The game has a bunch of minigames and side stuff that you have to navigate and then it's dropped and never touched again. I could go on. All in all, the good doesn't cancel out the bad. The various elements of the game don't cohere. The exploration, visuals, puzzles, characters, rhythm gameplay, music, difficulty, and story fail to complement each other.
