About
You know, when you explain an idea, the idea fundamentally changes.
UNBEATABLE is an anime-juiced rhythm adventure where you (figuratively) destroy on stage while you (literally) destroy on stage. During rhythm gameplay, you only need two buttons: a button for up and a button for down. Simple to understand! The complicated part is doing it. Try not to get destroyed yourself.
Half the game is walking around and taking things at your own pace. The other half is trying to keep up with ours.
The pink-haired girl is Beat, and she is you, and you have a lot of things to worry about. The cops are everywhere, and they are mad at you for what feels like no good reason. Though it doesn't help your case that you keep making friends with people that the cops are mad at for slightly better reasons. But what do I know?
Talk to people, help them out (or don't, I'm not your mom!), play huge concerts, and punch cops. And then run away from the cops you punched. Also there are monsters or something. Not sure what's going on there?!?!
All of this culminates in massive setpieces where everything is at stake. The music got you here. It'll get you through it.
*if this was 1999 this section would be called "talk the talk and rock the rock"
UNBEATABLE's full arcade mode is an entire game by itself with its own progression system and a full online component. There's modifiers, tons of songs (with more to come!) and a whole challenge board to beat, with things to do that range from as simple as "beat a song on easy mode" to, one may presume, something as complicated as "solve an ancient riddle while skateboarding." That's not a real example.
**if this was 1999 this section would be called "party like it's now"
FEATURES:
Story Mode: 6-8 hours. Arcade Mode: UNLIMITED
Characters that hate you!
Maybe also some that don't!
The arcade mode has a cute little profile you can customize and unlock stuff for and I think that's pretty neat
Graphics! We'd describe them but I mean it's right there, you can see it
A whole entire double album worth of original songs
plus acoustic versions of those songs
oh and also remixes, too
You can unlock all the songs by playing the narrative OR just by playing the arcade game exclusively! Great for those who truly hate stories
Something (in this game) will make you feel something (in real life)!
It's anime
If you think about it, QTEs are basically just rhythm games with no music
Please, whatever you do, the title is either all caps or no caps. Be kind to us.
And the idea changes you in return.

UNBEATABLE is a game about art, it is a game about performance, it even is a game about having ADHD and liking women. This game has a beautiful soundtrack, as to be expected from a rhythm game but it reminds me of a wide variety of genres I have enjoyed over the years. Even though the game only uses two buttons for the actual rhythm section, it still is very hard to keep up with some tracks, especially on UNBEATABLE or star difficulties. Besides the arcade mode, the story is hard hitting and will pull at the heart strings of any creative that plays it. UNBEATABLE makes me want to make better art.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is... HIGHLY broken on controller. Tried on my main handheld, and on a Windows laptop. Controls lock you out, cutscenes don't play, music sometimes is too low... how is this rated so high? Avoid unless you are buying just to have audio files ig.
as a rhythm game, i really like the different rhythm games.. or rhythm minigames or something in the story mode, i wish there was a way to play them outside of that. the arcade mode is like a standard rhythm game, which if is what you are looking for, is good. go listen to the music. so the story. it's messy. it kind of drags you along in the first two episodes, which is, well, a 3rd of the story, though by the third episode, everything starts making more sense and onward. still, the story keeps jumping over explaining how or why some things happen? bugs and some design choices often chip away at you while you try to enjoy the story. those are the not fun parts. those aside, i finished the game literally just now and i don't know what to say about the ending yet. but the dialogue is really good. it's the most consistent part of the writing, and it's impactful. it almost makes up for the flaws of the storytelling. this, and the flaws, though, makes the game feel especially real, like, a creation made with a little of every kind of thing their creators are, and that feels nice. that and the art (including the visual variety) also speaks for the story. though i really wouldn't complain if the bugs were fixed i rate 4/5 stars
I thought it was just a goofy rhythm game with a cool story. Turns out its one of the coolest stories I've ever played with lots of emotions and even more relatability (and confusion). The ending had me buffed hard. Safe to say I recommend this to everyone.
This is not a story about love. But it is a story regarding that which has been lost and is still to be found. While there may be slight issues with load time or frame lag at random moments, it occurs few and far between through my playtime. UNBEATABLE contains so many songs that you would never have thought you could hear and blends them beautifully into a rhythm game and story, not to mention the astounding works created by other artists and feature in the Arcade Mode. I'm not much of a rhythm game player but I still love them and would definitely recommend it to other rhythm game players who enjoy a story with playable songs and minigames throughout.
It's good. It's really, really good.
I could probably write an entire essay about this game. One that I would title: "The Absolute Dumpster Fire I Loved". UNBEATABLE is hard to quantify. Honestly speaking, it has tons of bugs and small issues, and the story and pacing honestly is pretty terrible for the first 75% of the game. But this might be the first time I can recall that that last 25% completely made the journey worth it. The story manages to completely justify itself, the art is wholly amazing from beginning to end, and the music strikes an excellent balance for a specific audience who really needs it. In a world where media is growing standardized and soulless, this travesty held together by duct tape made me feel something remarkable. Enough that I kept going back to it to play the arcade mode purely to immerse myself in it more. This game is not for everyone, and it's not for anyone who's "just looking for a good time" because it is not that. This game is for people who love art, no matter how broken it is.
