About
The pool bar is always open! Ultrapool is a colorful roguelike about playing pool with a bunch of wacky balls with crazy effects. Carefully craft a perfect build and get the craziest trickshots!
Get comfy, choose a cocktail, and get ready for a very special game of pool. Assemble a triangle of balls with strange effects and get the sickest trickshots. The bartenders won't be easy to impress!
Ultrapool is an arcade-y colorful roguelike that plays like a pool version of Balatro and Super Auto Pets. Pocketing balls gives you score, and extra score gives you money you can spend at the bar to buy and improve your set of balls. Try to survive 10 rounds!

We got both! Easy to pick up pool mechanics: just get the balls in the holes! But as you discover the wacky abilities the balls have, you'll get new ideas of how to get your score ever higher.
A ghost ball that reappears on the table? A chicken ball that lays spherical eggs? A bomb that explodes if you bump it too much? The Earth? Anything is possible (as long as it's round and it rolls nicely, no cubes allowed!)

Once you think you know the game, the cocktail bar opens. Ask the bartender to mix any two balls and he will serve you something special! Some of these will feel like they should break the game wide open, but you'll need every edge you can get if you want to pull off an all nighter.

Didn't have the best balls so I just used a cocktail bar to mix two of them and what do you know suddenly my run was smooth as a cueball cocktail. 10/10 would mix again
This is a lot of fun so far! My only request, please give us more options to fine-tune the control on Steam Deck. Using the track pad is brilliant, but it’s almost TOO sensitive and needs an option to reduce sensitivity the slower you move or something. It’s way too easy to misalign a shot just from lifting your thumb off the pad. Either way, small gripe and “Balatro X Pool” works way better than it has any right to.

Hate it I thought for sure I would like this game so I didn't try the Demo. My bad, Can't move the cueball on the break, to easy to make balls, slow, boring... hate it.
Was more fun in the beta when synergies actually worked and gave satisfaction, now just gives frustration. Will change the review if they make the game fun again.
Really fun roguelike with tons of balls. Beating the first 4 difficulties is easy enough, but the fifth can be challenging and going into Endless mode after with your ballsy build is really satisfying, All the ball boink sounds is music to my ears. The game could use some challenge modes or modifiers to spice up your runs after you finish the 5 difficulties. After 25ish hours I completed 4/5 difficulties for all of the ball packs, the fifth difficulty could take another 25 since its twice as many rounds to complete. I'm looking forward to any updates the dev may release, Right now it's definitely worth the money if you like games like Balatro. but in my opinion it doesn't have enough yet for it to extend 100+ hours of playtime like Balatro (unless you really like pool!). I'm positive they can deliver and I hope they allow for steam workshop someday as it would be awesome to play with wacky modded ball packs that just wouldn't fit the base game balance. Overall, I recommend Ultrapool, baller game
i put 30 hours into the demo i like this game even more than balatro. it's easily my favorite roguelite "deckbuilder." ONLY thing is that I wish it had cross save with the mobile version. But I love it so much I don't mind unlocking everything twice. :)
俺はとにかく新しいフォーマットのデッキ構築ゲーが大好きなんだ
Fantastic little snooker roguelite. Great sound effects, good controls and an easy to read board. Dont need much else.
Умею катать шары и речь не про бильярд.
