About
Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts aims to be the first game of its kind - a true naval warfare game - which offers a unique opportunity to design and build countless variations of realistic looking warships combined with an extremely in-depth and realistic combat model. We are absolutely excited with what we are making and we hope everyone who is interested about the dreadnought era and naval warfare, will join our ambitious project and support us.
BUILD THE BATTLESHIPS THE WAY YOU WANT
Become the architect of powerful warships, from small torpedo boats to mighty Battleships! Recreate famous ships such as the HMS Dreadnought and countless speculative designs. Pick turret layout, armor scheme, funnel placement, tower variations making each ship look and feel unique. Their hull characteristics, internal upgrade selection and weight distribution not only modifies their speed and maneuverability but also their weapon effectiveness. Every design detail of your warships has a significant effect on the combat capability of your ships.
STRONG AI
Naval combat becomes immersive and feels even more realistic when your opponent is able to react to your actions with a human-like and unexpected behavior. The AI evaluates the optimal engagement distance, using principles of the “Immunity Zone” and comparing its own firepower versus your ships. The AI uses ammunition wisely, holding fire when necessary or switching shell types according to the armor protection of the target. Unless there is a special mission directive, the AI will not act suicidally and will attempt to withdraw, if its fleet becomes heavily damaged or it is much weaker than yours.
NAVAL ACADEMY & CUSTOM BATTLES
The Custom Battle system allows you to experiment and enjoy naval battles utilizing endless combinations of ship designs in technology eras between the years 1890 and 1950 for ten different nations. Additionally, there is the “Naval Academy” which currently includes 63 battle scenarios, where you will have to design a ship or a squadron to fulfill a certain combat tactical task. These numerous missions will allow you to practice and enjoy the many innovative design and combat aspects of the game.
THE CAMPAIGN
You can fully design your fleet, immerse yourself in epic naval battles and make crucial strategic decisions on the map with a single goal to defeat your opponents by annihilating their fleets and strangling their economy. The map includes necessary historical and strategic aspects that can simulate actual facts of the period 1890-1940.

Didn't like it. The tactical ship component is a massive learning curve with very little fun. The campaign is a tedious grind with very little fun. I enjoyed it a bit less than doing my taxes.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Abandoned game since end of 2024. Campaign mode has unfinished feel. No control on most of the events there. The only consolation prize was designing the ships is quite fun for a while.
稀烂优化,跑路制作组,画饼内容,这游戏还能卖出去真是个奇迹👎
This game is fantastic, yet frustratingly unfinished. Game Labs has left some astonishing logic and functions in the game. I'll list a few examples of how things seem to function. - Shellfire is deliberately aimed short of the targeted ship, and when the game decides that a hit is warranted, it seems to pick a shell to actually fly the full distance. This can be seen when you have many guns concentrated on an enemy ship and all the splashes are 20-200m short, scaling with range to the target, until a stray shell goes long and hits the ship. You can guarantee hits at specific ranges by targeting ships the correct distance *behind* your target ship. It definitely does NOT feel like the accuracy and hits are natural elements of having to find the range, lead and natural dispersion of the guns. - While abstracted away by the argument of 'you're only the admiral, not the head of state', to say the diplomacy and peace settings are unfinished and clunky would be putting it very lightly. When an enemy offers peace, you don't get to see the terms until after you(r head of state) agrees to the deal. Then, you're presented with a list of demands you can make, which the AI can freely ignore your demands for provinces without breaking the terms of the peace deal. You can advise the head of state whether you want to keep fighting or not, but the logic is jank, and the game will force two countries who both want peace to keep fighting, or force you into accepting an extremely lenient peace deal with none of your demands met. As the US, I'll be dominating Spain, taking their Carribean holdings, and advising the head of state not to make peace because we're winning so effortlessly. I'd take a peace deal if I knew I'd generated enough political capital to force a handover of the holdings I actually want, but having the AI not even need to hold up its end of a treaty I can't see the terms of before accepting has no excuse for being in the game. Building ships and sending them to fight is fun, I just wish the game was more polished before Gamelabs abandoned development. It plays much more like a pretty decent late Alpha than a finished product. I don't want to recommend the game, but I also don't want to deter you if you find this genre interesting. It is a genuinely good game with many bizarre logic decisions and lack of polish.
Unstable, Broken, and Malignant Garbage Rating: Not Recommended Buying this game isn’t a purchase; it’s a sentence to 18 hours of unpaid labor as a QA tester. The "playtime" on my account isn’t gameplay, it’s the record of a desperate struggle to make a defective product actually function. This isn't a finished 1.0 release; it’s an abandoned alpha build masquerading as a simulator. The base game is so fundamentally broken that it is unplayable without the community’s "Dreadnought Improvement Project" patch. If you have to rely on unpaid modders to fix your basic turret AI and movement mechanics, you haven't made a game, you've sold a corpse and asked the customers to perform the autopsy. Worse, this software is a literal hazard to your PC. I’ve endured constant freezes and hard-system restarts that put my hardware at risk. It doesn't just crash to the desktop; it threatens the integrity of your entire OS. The campaign is a joke, defined by "death spiral" bugs and economic rot that the developers have ignored for years. This is a technical catastrophe. Stop rewarding developers who ship broken, hazardous code and expect the community to do their jobs for them. Requesting a refund immediately. Stay away unless you enjoy troubleshooting software that shouldn't have passed a basic stability test.
Most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game ive ever played my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ batleship can't hit a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ destroyer at close range lik deadass soo jarring
Abandoned game, do not purchase for the outrageous price that is being asked.
The concept is kind of cool and that's it, what an unoptimized buggy mess of a game! This game was also abandoned despite being in a seemingly unfinished state, so don't expect any fixes anytime soon.
What a waste of money! could have been such a good game too...devs def got bored and tired and gave up on the game...why even make a game and charge people money, just to give up and crap on everyone?
