UFO 50 is a collection of 50 single and multiplayer games that span a variety of genres, from platformers and shoot 'em ups to puzzle games, roguelites, and RPGs. Our goal is to combine a familiar 8-bit aesthetic with new ideas and modern game design.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 28 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Nintendo publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.
One of the best game collections ever made...
I love UFO 50, I don't love every game in the collection but I almost feel like that part of the experience. UFO 50 is one of the most original ideas i've seen for a game collection. If you are a fan at of of retro games this is a must play.
Some of these games are worth more than 50 cents. Some aren't. But overall UFO 50 really makes you FEEL like the Batman.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

incredible work of art. there's so many games of such high quality there's bound to be some that will be worth your while. also most of the art in the games is incredible: musical and visual! also there's a garden that gets decorations as you do certain things in each game, it's really cute. my personal favorites: pilot quest: timed game that is like if you mixed the original zelda with cookie clicker. the game has a really fun loop, and i mean this literally! i'm on my third new game plus with some added benefits per win. very risk/reward based in the dungeon sections, death loses basically everything. grimstone: old school final fantasy set in the wild west. has some brutal dungeon runs, but i like the timing based combat and rpg elements a lot. party house: the game i probably heard about the most coming in. deck/resource building solitaire with a fun party theme. i like to play this on the exercise bike mini and max: insane platformer where the gimmick is shrinking (twice! to my knowledge). lots of power ups, exploration, and quests velgress: tough as nails climbing game where the ground beneath you is constantly breaking. game expects you to die a lot, the game also isn't super long so savor the lack of progress because quite literally any run could be it porgy: underwater metroid with fuel and light mechanics. it can be a little brutal at first but once you start building a foundation it's pretty simple. the equipment limit on the power ups is annoying, if you want to pad a short game limiting the amount of fun you can have at once kinda stinks. the difference between porgy being 8 and 6 hours. i could have been grinding in grimstone with those two hours! mortol 2: class-based platformer??? in this economy??? i haven't beaten it bc it doesn't save progress bc the gimmick is u have 99 lives to win, but really fun! chameleon: this is basically 2d captain toad. if you know, you know quibble race: this game has the vibe of a game you found on the school computer in first grade and then never saw again vainger: more metroid warp tanks: more puzzle platforming night manor: horror adventure game. some crazy visual and sound design from what i played avianos: never thought i would enjoy this game, but i really do. i've never played catan or risk or anything like that but it's kind of like those? maybe?
