UFO 50 is a collection of 50 single and multiplayer games that span a variety of genres, from platformers and shoot 'em ups to puzzle games, roguelites, and RPGs. Our goal is to combine a familiar 8-bit aesthetic with new ideas and modern game design.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 28 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Nintendo publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Reviews
Perhaps the first truly amazing multicart game. Most of the games in here are very fun; I'm sure you'll find a few that you'll enjoy. Some of my favorites are Party House and Rail Heist.
This is one of my few negative reviews on Steam but I want to clarify that I don't think this means the game is low-quality or not worth it for everyone. In fact I'm likely to keep playing it after making this negative review. It runs extremely well and takes little storage space which I think is worth mentioning and praising. I'm leaving a negative review because I feel like a lot of the games are very surface level and all of them are extremely frustrating. If you're looking for retro games then this is a way to relive them but it also reminds me of a lot of the worst aspects of some unwinnable levels that kill you to get you to spend more coins. A lot of the "best" games for me are just shallow copies of deeper experiences you can get from other games, my favorite games here have been : - Night Manor: Point and Click adventure which is serviceable and somewhat fun but pales in comparison to a full point and click adventure like Grim Fandango - Chameleon: Fun puzzle game but with limited levels. A full puzzle game of this nature would have more worlds and more mechanics. etc. etc. Basically, any gameplay mechanic you like in this collection you may able to find better in a full game focused on it. Some games are just low quality in my opinion like the "RPG" Grimstone which has no quest log, barely any NPC interactions and an extremely boring progression and levelling system with an unbalanced economy. I can't in good conscience recommend it and it frustrated me enough to make me type out this review. I'll keep playing it and keep going through the games and if I change my mind I might edit this review

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

beautiful collection of clever and cruel. wonderful thoughts in a cohesive jumble
It's not just lightning in a bottle, it's multiple storm systems. Such an insane accomplishment.
Truly one of the most amazing games I've ever played. Several in the collection left me wanting more after completion. Absolutely ideal for Steam Deck in particular.
do not pass up this opportunity for some classic style FUN. solo or 2 player, these games aren’t just a beautiful art piece- I feel like I understand why arcade games took off as hard as they did, (other than it just being wicked cool tech back in the day) despite me not being born in time to see the release of the wii lol i played probably 15 hours or so before i even got into the ARG elements. i can count on one hand the amount of times i found a game that was so much fun, i played 30+ hours in less than a week… this is one of those games. pure joy.
Honestly if you enjoy NES style games, in this 50 pack I am sure you will find at least 10-20 you somewhat like. 5 you really enjoy. A few you cant stand. and a few you just cant stop playing.
You'll probably find at least one game in here that really resonates with you. Adds fun twists on classic games.
