TV Archive: Tidy Up Together

If you loved Librarian, you'll enjoy this one. Evocative covers/titles, bonus for clearing the game, useful abilities, and even optional co-op. The only thing I find unbelivable is the lack of... erhm... Adult titles in a TV Archive. Could use a side room DLC.

游戏玩法类似“图书管理员:整理魔法图书馆吧”轻量解压小游戏，整理收集癖专属游戏，一开始没解锁技能整理速度很慢，要从海量录影带中一盘盘找，很考验耐心，随着游玩会慢慢解锁很多技能，比如高亮你手头同类型的录影带、自动回收你手头同类型的录影带、高亮你手头录影带的架子位置等等，后期整理速度会越来越快很有成就感。当然游戏除了这些还是存在一点小瑕疵：录影带交互失灵（点击半天没反应）、技能冷却时间形同虚设（技能可以无限开，显得上面的冷却时间数字没啥意义）等等小BUG，不过不影响游玩体验，喜欢整理收集党值得一试。

I didn’t think I’d start working in an old store so early as a simple salesperson who sorts goods — in our case, cassettes. Sometimes it’s unclear how to determine the genre, but fortunately, the game supports many languages.

It wishes it could be the Arcane Library Tidy Up Game but it isn't. The "magic" in this is that you have to do everything manually. Even though there ARE "magic" abilities. To use the "auto-shelf" ability you have to be looking AT THE BACK of the vhs case. as in AT AN EMPTY SPOT and the thing you want to shelve has to be the top item. If it's anywhere else in your stack it doesn't care it only matches the top item to that EXACT spot. If you want to do MORE than one you need to repeatedly hit the button as your timer runs down on the BACK of the shelf. The "Sort" feature is actually THE WORST EVER AND I WISH IT DIDN'T EXIST. It does NOT sort your items. It does NOT sort 1-10. It does NOT sort 1969 then 1970 etc. no. For all I can tell this button does LITERALLY NOTHING. The "skill tree" FORCES you to get upgrades that you don't need. Making the SIX HOURS of time of review I'm only HALF DONE with the game because the skill tree prevents you from getting ANYTHING useful until NOW. AND I HAVE HELP!!!! This is one of the most frustrating games I've ever attempted to relax with. A LOT of the VHS spines look IDENTICAL so good luck to my friends that struggle with any sort of colorblindness when that is sometimes the ONLY difference on the spine. I love the titles -> Vampire Slayer Sarah. The Teenage Witch Melissa........ Stone Family and Jet Family. I think those are funny and I was happy to spend $4 on this game to play with some friends but I'll never pick this one up again. The only difference in MOST sections is arbitrary YEARS so have fun sorting "News" from 1969-1983 and Basketball and Baseball and Tennis and Racing and Boxing <- LITERALLY ALL DIFFERENT CATEGORIES. 15+ shelf spaces on each one. It's the EA Sports edition of this type of game. Sorry but this one. Is a "save your money" game.

Simple idea, but it really hooks you. VHS, shelves, skill progression. Even better in co-op. So relaxing!

I probably should've looked into the game more because had I realized the VHS tapes were predominantly AI art, I would not have purchased. We chugged through regardless since we already paid. The skill tree seems like it was meant to add challenge but it's actually just annoying being forced to unlock them in an order, and it continues until quite late in the game which was frustrating because it starts to drag. If you're hellbent on arranging aesthetically you'll struggle as there are odd numbers of seasons (why are you giving me five season of a show knowing it will throw off the arrangement of your three-slot shelves???). There's a few funny references but overall, I was heavily unamused and bored by the titles. Getting the game on sale was a blessing because had I paid full price, even as cheap as it is, I would've been more irritated and probably refunded.

if you can ignore the massive use of AI this game is pretty chill. nice to play with friends, not the best one out there but it does the job. 5/10 :')
