игра чтоб убить время
I liked the game until I placed the last tape and the game glitched - it permanently removed a random tape from another shelf and I can't finish the game. Disappointing.

Bought and returned. Pros: - amusing titles Cons: - jumping is Bad - to use skills you have to shelve more tapes???? why - unlocking skills is confusing - WHY are there so many sports and news tapes? no wonder this place went out of business - gen ai covers - weird that every film and tv series has ten seasons/parts
-Game crashed once when hosting, lost a fair bit of progress early on. -It auto-saves when you complete a shelf and on exit, but this isn't enough. Much work can get done between esp early on. -Titles in list on left aren't accurate to the video on top of my pile. -Sometimes abilities just don't work.
Offering decent entertainment at first. However, shelving videotapes correctly allows skills to be spammed endlessly, as cooldown timers do not exist. The entire campaign can be finished in under 6 hours, providing absolutely 0 challenge. Character rotation happens extremely slowly, causing major irritation. Maxing out sensitivity settings fails to improve camera speed, leaving movement feeling broken. Steam discussions link the slow rotation issue directly to controllers, and mouse and keyboard inputs fail entirely. Characters refuse to turn, making the overall experience deeply disappointing.
We all know why we are here... We've finished Librarian and need something else to fill the itch. This one does a pretty good job of scratching it. Not as good, but still very enjoyable.
TV Archive is very much like Librarian, but makes several mistakes compared to Librarian. My main issue is that in TV Archive, you level up too slow (plus the order in which you unlock the skills is almost fixed, so you can't level up one skill first). You have to shelf half the tapes manually before the skills are strong enough to be useful. The skill that highlights tapes that match the tape in your hand - even when fully levelled up - turns off so quickly, that using it is always a race against time. This is stressful in a game that I want to play for some peace and calm. In Librarian, the covers of the books from the same category are similar to each other, so you can collect books that need to go to the same shelf even without reading the titles. In TV Archive, the covers are too distinct for that, which slows you down even more. On top of that, the covers and titles of the tapes are boringly generic and AI generated, where the books in Librarian have funny titles. Bottom Line: Better play Librarian or Supermarket Chaos. If you really like that kind of game, you might like TV Archive enough, but I don't think I will play TV Archive a second time.
Bro, like... WHO THE ♥♥♥♥ LOCK THE SKILL TREE. AND THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ COOLDOWN IS LITERALLY PUTTING BACK TAPES IN ORDER? LIKE WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥. AND ALSO ♥♥♥♥ SO HARD TO DIFFERENTIATE. it's not unplayable, but just not ideal to play cause it's literally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bunch of ♥♥♥♥ that waste your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time instead of really tidy ♥♥♥♥ up, honestly, still, the librarian one goated, period.
