I played Trove for over a hundred hours. I was excited to return to the game only to be met with all my account progress deleted. The game prompted me to make a username, unknowing that If done so all my progress would have been scrapped. There is absolutely nothing that can be done to retrieve this data now. Hundreds of hours spent grinding now gone. Horrible company, horrible handling, and even worse support. Stay far away from this game as possible, it is nothing but a dirty cash grab mishandled by a disgusting company that feels no guilt.

完全不推荐新玩家入坑，这游戏已经到了大型多人在线类型的末期时代了 现在还留在游戏里的遗老基本已经形成超级小团体了，他们主要的目的不是帮助萌新，而是当商人。只有新人有了新的需求，他们东西才能卖的出去，你表面上看上去的萌新福利不过是为了加快新人的养成进度，更好的卖出材料罢了。 说到商人就不得不说现在的市场环境，市场上充斥着大量的黑原晶和黑货，谁都分不清那些黑那些白，萌新只要运气不好买到的东西上游被查，一条线都要被封。现在市场没崩坏说到底就是商人在囤积黑货慢出稳定物价，他是要赚真钱的，而不是啥虚拟资产，你萌新买东西被封了他也就发你个新号，说到底还是让你套牢在游戏里。 末法时期的游戏外挂乱飞，反作弊形同虚设，外挂拉快养成进度，而官方为了在线人数不封外挂，只能加大养成难度，养成难度加大需求增加，外挂自动瞬移刷本获得材料，将材料卖给商人，商人在卖给普通玩家，获利的只有外挂和商人。

random crashes, quests locked which you need a support ticket to resolve, many useless features still exist, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ progression, everything needs 10 wiki searches and 20 reddit posts to understand... i used to love this game, but the state that its in right now is just unplayable

Been hearing some very troublesome things about this game and it's anti cheat. I have some hours here and I'd say the same amount on Xbox when I used to play it there way back when. It's a shame to go through these reviews and see how it's declined since I last played, but for the anti cheat alone I cannot recommend this game anymore. Supposedly it's invasive and causing problems for people even when the game is turned off. It also requires you to edit your registry in order to remove it. Overall, incredibly frustrating that a game I used to love has been reduced to this.

In my experience, XignCode (their new kernel level anti cheat) didn't feel very effective at stopping cheaters. I've also seen other users raise concerns about what data anti-cheat software like this collects - worth doing your own research if that matters to you. They also removed the community market and banned me from their discord for saying their anti cheat is reading more from peoples pcs than it should according to a lot of people and for the question if they plan on removing it. The game used to be a LOT of fun but sadly they ran their game against a wall, the community gets ignored and now they try to get as much as they can from their last users I guess. You can gauge the community consensus by looking at the comments of all the last posts (even tho some apparently got deleted) :)

Was a game I enjoyed playing a lot. Found a lot of friends through it too, but since Gamigo acquired it, the game has been on a downward spiral... The fact they added an invasive and useless anti-cheat now makes it absolutely impossible to recommend - I'll even go as far as heavily discouraging even installing it, since even as someone working in IT, I find getting rid of the anti-cheat after uninstalling pretty annoying, which by itself is sketchy.
