Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Sep 11 → 3.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Soulbound is a pixel-art action-MMO where every dungeon run reshapes your build. Charge into roguelite dungeons with friends in 3-player co-op, chain devastating ability combos from 100+ combinations, and return to a living open world where you farm, craft, and uncover a mystery that runs deeper than any dungeon floor.
Soulbound splits its world in two: a shared overworld full of quests and adventure, and brutal instanced dungeons that never play the same way twice. Every floor reshuffles encounters, hazards, and loot and every room unlocks new relics that warp your abilities in ways you didn't plan for. This is a one of a kind MMO-meets-roguelite hybrid that fuses our favourite meta progression systems with the chaos of survivor-like combat.
Enter the dungeon and pick from 10+ abilities that create unique class builds with branching relic paths. Stack a chain-lightning relic on your mage's Pyrosphere and watch mobs evaporate. Layer life-steal onto a berserker's hammer and turn your AoE into a heal for your party. Every relic run offers new synergies you've never tried, and the best builds are the ones nobody planned.
As you swap your gear, you swap your class instantly. Tank for your friends on Monday, rain bullets on Thursday, your character is every class you want it to be, whenever you want it to be.
Step out of the dungeon and the pace shifts. Soulbound's open world is a shared space where thousands of players farm, gather, trade, and quest side by side. Tend your crops, fish a quiet river or stumble into a quest line that unlocks an ability you didn't know existed. The overworld is where you discover the skills and upgrades that make your next dungeon run deadly.
Every life skill feeds back into your progression with cooking restoring stamina, gathering unlocking crafting materials for gear and buffs and mining unlocking crafting stations to build the weapons that defines your class.
Gear in Soulbound does two things: makes you powerful and makes you you. Separate cosmetic slots mean your stats never dictate your style as you collect handmade, uniquely animated pixel-art armor sets, rare cosmetic drops, and companion pets. Mix and match freely and make your character look exactly how you want.
Every player gets their own base, and it's where your meta progression lives. Inside it, you construct and upgrade stations that unlock new gear tiers, potions that tip dungeon runs in your favor, and meals that push your stamina further. Decorate every room with furniture, trophies, and a full room-layout editor. Invite your friends and start building your guild base.
You awaken inside a digital universe that feels alive… but hostile. Early in your journey, you encounter The Anima, enigmatic and malevolent entities that overwhelm you with impossible force. Death isn’t the end, however. You’re recovered by a robotic rescuer and brought to your Virelda, a safe haven, workshop, and base of operations. As a Pioneer, you’ve got a lot to do before you can stand against The Anima.

Great bones, great concept but the timers are getting insane. I get it, its an mmo, blah blah blah, 3 hours to smelt 10 bars for lower tier gear is a bit much.
Idk why this game has mixed reviews tbh. I've got a fair amount of hours in it and paid like 15 bucks. That's a deal. People keep review bombing it over old stuff that isnt even true anymore. The game gets patched every single week and genuinely gets better each time. The 16 hour crafting timers everyone was mad about? Gone. They just deleted them, buffed resource drops, doubled generator power. Whatever people were mad about last week is usually fixed by friday. The devs actually read the discord and do something about it which is wild for an indie team. Gameplay is what hooked me though. Its like an action roguelike meets an mmo. The dungeons are fast paced and decently challenging with many difficulty levels, Your gear stats+Abilities you choose and the upgrade relics you select to those abilities in a run determine how strong you get. Solo or with up to 2 other people, Raids coming soon, 'home' building, fishing, farming, cosmetics, daily tasks and so on. I keep saying one more run and suddenly its 3am. Pixel art is gorgeous too. The big thing for me is that the dungeons have leaderboards. I am fairly competitive so grinding for the top scores on the leaderboards is what kept me playing way longer than i planned. Yeah its janky sometimes, its early access. Some rubberbanding, servers were rough the first few days. But its gotten noticeably better week by week, and support replied to a ticket in like 5 min once which is not a thing that happens. Crypto stuff from the old reviews is all gone btw. Just a normal paid game now, no tokens no nfts. If you enjoy numbers go up stuff, try this one.

This review is ignoring the bugs, NFT drama(mostly) and launch day struggles. This game has three (3) main systems going for it's gameplay loop. The roguelite/bullet heaven part. The gearing/meta progression part, and the Life skills/skilling part, so let's go one by one. The core gameplay, the dungeons and bullet heaven is weak. If you played any, and I mean any vsuv clone, you've had a better experience than this. The skills themselves are okay, inoffensive, nothing special. But the upgrades and "perks" are just boring. Every dungeon feels exactly like the last, there are no upgrades who change more than slightly the way you use your skills or play, the perks feel nonexistent, and the rare moments you do find one of the very rare perks, they are just higher numbers for your skills. The enemies have some unique movement patterns, and bosses have the standard red floor mechanics, but if you're playing with anything besides 20 ping (and you will), enemies will hit you even though they missed you on your screen. And if the server lags (and it will), you insta die and lose a run. The questing is also quite weak. The lore is there, I guess. It exists for the purpose of saying it exists. None of the quests are interesting, always being some kind of fetch or kill quests. And you will be forced to do them, since some skills are locked behind completing them. And the life skills are also extremely boring. Most of them are just click and click again somewhere different 1.5 seconds after, repeat about 50 seconds and wait for stamina regen(which takes maybe 2 minutes of waiting in a tavern, or by eating food). Some have a little minigame, which after doing them for the 100th time just gets annoying. But the biggest problem with the game is that everything feels incomplete. If you want any information your best bet is asking in the discord and hoping one of the NFT era sweats answers for you. The Wiki was offline for all of day 1, but it wouldn't have been up to date anyway. Finding information inside the own game is very limited to say the least and annoying, and even some information inside the game itself is not up to date. Skills will appear to be based on one attribute in one place and another somewhere else. Quests will fail to complete and you have no choice but to open a support ticket and get it completed that way. That being said, the support team itself is a huge positive, I had two broken quests and they both got solved within 60 seconds of talking to a member of support, but that's not a great excuse for a broken game. Is it a horrible game? No it isn't, it's enjoyable, as every bullet heaven ends up being, but it only feels that way for the first 30 minutes. After that, you're doing busy work for your life skills, and seeing the same runs again and again in the dungeons, or doing quests that are just more of the other two. The selling point of roguelites, every run being different than the last, simply doesn't exist here. It lacks variety for that to be possible, and the very systems of the game work against that. Upgrading skills isn't cheap, and at some point you don't want to be using unupgraded skills, add to that gear usually having stats that work better for a class of skills rather than others, so what you end up with is a game where you've seen all it has to show in one or two hours of gameplay. You can keep pushing for better gear or higher numbers, but your experience will be the exact same. The game has potential, but it's unfinished, and it shows. Usually I wouldn't give a negative review(or a review at all) to an early access product for being unfinished, but they already got their starter cash with the NFT rug pull, and while the fact it's scammy is debatable, it's undeniable they tried their best to hide and dissociate from the old project. Before release day, the only way you could even find that out was by interacting with a dropdown in a server in their discord and receiving a private message about it(It is now pinned to the English general chat). They took steps to make sure people didn't instantly find out their past, and regardless of why, that should add scrutiny.
game isn't bad for the dumb reasons ppl put below. Lag okay I get it but without that the game plays fine. Crypto stuff? Yeah, I do not care at all this game is less than dinner. What makes it bad is you have to wait real life hours for upgrades and that's super annoying. In order for that to work you have to make a really good game that people want to play in. This is fine but it's not so good that i want to wait 22 hours to craft some ingots or 3 hours to upgrade a bench. I'm good. I already played Pax Dei.
Game is okayish but it feels like a web game, it has this clunky feeling when you do anything... The lag is terrible, the servers are terrible, the quests are bugged to the point that its unplayable. There are a lot of other things that could get improved but idk if they can fix them all, i just can not recommend the game right now, id give it a 3/10 right now and i don't see it getting any better anytime soon... Also if you say ANYTHING bad about this game on discord or in game chat there are a few people that start attacking you and they act like a cult, its pretty weird there is something suspicious going on behind the scenes.
*** MAYBE IF 1.0 IS GOOD BUT CURRENTLY NO *** I love the game, its systems and idea is amazing. However, making people pay into a game that will be wiped and takes hours and days to grind out is not in the games best interest. I would highly recommend making this game free to play and pushing cosmetics out for funding in the future and compensate anyone that has already paid for the game with cosmetics or something similar. The game will die before 1.0 at this rate, and it sucks because it is such a great game. Also, focus more on making the game playable and less on balancing.
Had a friend personally ask the developers whether or not there would be a progression wipe and he was told there wouldn't be and that the FAQ was outdated, and now after spending 26 hours they decided to go back on what they said saying there will 100% be a wipe which has killed all motivation to continue playing. The game is also ridiculously buggy, I probably spent 20% of my playtime just sitting there waiting for a support ticket to be answered because I was in a state where I was unable to do anything. Upgrade and crafting/smelting times are stupidly long (upgrading stations was taking 16 hours and smelting enough ingots for everything I needed was taking several real life days at my stage in the game and it will only get worse), it feels like the developers just put them there to slow down how fast you can progress because there really doesn't seem to be enough content in the game currently. The housing section is actually quite cool, you get your own apartment to place your crafting stations down. The only problem is that if you want to craft or smelt multiple things, you need to make multiple stations, which wouldn't normally be an issue but every station takes up power, meaning you can only have a few active at a time. You don't get nearly enough power for the things you want to be making to progress, so it feels like yet another way to artificially slow down progression which shouldn't exist like this in a paid game. The game also uses a stamina system which requires you to afk every few minutes if you want to actively grind materials outside of dungeons, which I can understand for a free to play game but not for something like this. You can get around this by cooking food but again, doing that also takes stamina and once you've gotten to a good point in the game where you can make enough food this is basically never an issue, so I don't understand why it has to be in the game in the first place. The dungeon gameplay is genuinely fun as someone who likes vampire survivors and similar games, however lag and crashing is also an issue that doesn't seem to have gotten any better during my playtime and can ruin your dungeon runs entirely. I wouldn't recommend picking this game up until 1.0, and even then I would be cautious and wait for reviews from other players to make sure all of the above problems have been fixed.
queue conveniently hangs around the 2 hour mark to prevent refunds nice try
一抹の不安が過ぎりレビューを確認してみた所 とてもやべー状態の開発だと判明 よく調べてから購入を検討されたし
At first I was skeptical of all the negative reviews, and decided to do my own digging into this game, since I was stuck in queue for over an hour. What I found was... not great. There are other negative reviews that articulate this game's history far better than I ever could. On top of the troubled past of this game and its development, the game also ran like hot garbage. Server issues, graphical bugs.. I spent more time in queue than I could in the actual game proper. Hard pass. You would be better off burning your own money for warmth than picking this one up.
