TROUBLESHOOTER: Abandoned Children is the first season of a turn-based strategy SRPG that takes place in the world of Troubleshooter.

Valhalla is a free trading nation erected by three world powers for their own benefits after the world war. In an attempt to control the nation, the three world powers banned the army from Valhalla. Due to these circumstances, public order in Valhalla is always unstable and thus after ten years the Valhalla government made a bold decision.
The Valhalla government granted civilians the right to investigate and arrest criminals in order to lower the rising crime rate. People call them Troubleshooter.
10 years have passed since the introduction of the troubleshooter system. Albus, a 20-year-old young man, becomes an official troubleshooter. Albus first starts his company on his own but soon takes in many colleagues as he solves more cases. All these new members of the company have their own motivations and stories. You will be experiencing a variety of missions in Valhalla through their stories.

All characters in Troubleshooter have their own unique classes. Each character can rank up to the upper class, and the role of your character changes according to the class.
All characters in Troubleshooter can acquire various masteries according to their levels and classes. Furthermore, you can activate additional effects by combinations of masteries. Utilizing this, you can make a character for your unique strategy.
Such masteries can be acquired by leveling your character up. However, in most cases, you can acquire masteries from enemies. In other words, you can take your enemies' unique traits and apply them to your characters.
There are more than 100 unique missions in Troubleshooter. All missions are designed independently, and all of them have their own unique circumstances.
Troubleshooter uses more than 500 cut scenes to portray the story.
As new characters join your company, playable content will be unlocked according to their roles. For example, if you recruit a hunter character, you will be able to tame beasts. You will be able to craft drones if you recruit engineers.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Really fun Game. It could use a bit more streamlining in its systems not to simplify its depth, but to avoid hiding its brilliance behind unnecessary tedium.
Je ne suis pas fan de Manga mais amateur de jeux tactiques bien velus et là, je suis servi ! Le niveau de difficulté est paramétrable à tout moment et l'évolution de chaque personnage est un jeu dans le jeu. Une excellente surprise !
Awesome ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Difficult one to review for me. I really wanted to like this one! The game seems alright mechanically, but a few major things hold it back. After over ten hours, I'm still stuck with only two characters. The game promises complex theorycrafting, but it seems like it will take ages to get there. Currently I can't say, even with a dozen hours played, that a single build has come online. The early game is marred by overpowered allies. In almost all story missions, some random hero will join your team and clear the map for you. Even on hard difficulties. It's a very odd design choice that I don't stand by. I'd rather build my own team from scratch. Unlocking masteries and sets thereof isn't transparent. So you'll have to consult a guide if you want to make a specific build happen. Not a huge issue, but it's an odd choice and seems like it will add an element of grind to the game. The base building aspect isn't exciting at all. The UI is quite clunky, especially on Steam Deck. Many missions seemed quite repetitive to me, and too often you have hordes of enemies coming at you. It feels more grindy than tactical. Worst of all is the writing. The game has a lot of dialogue screens with filler discussion. Think "..." "..." over and over again. The story has made very little sense so far. I would be tempted to skip it altogether. The translation is even worse. It seems like it is a literal (machine?) translation from Korean and much of it simply makes no sense in English. Why not hire a competent translator? Beyond all this, I'm sure there is a great game to be discovered here if you can dedicate tens of hours to get the game even started. I don't think I can find it in me to do that, especially considering the other reservations above. The game was recommended to me as a XCOM-like with deeper buildcrafting. That it ultimately might be, but I can't say I found the first ten hours exciting enough to continue. If it's on sale, I would recommend trying it, regardless.
Must buy 4 people that like round based Combat or Persona Style games.

游戏很精美,玩法很多。玩了150多个小时的时候仍然有新鲜感。玩了快200个小时才打完白狮子的DLC,还剩乌鸦的DLC还没玩,感觉有些意犹未尽。希望作者能继续更新下去。
