TROUBLESHOOTER: Abandoned Children is the first season of a turn-based strategy SRPG that takes place in the world of Troubleshooter.

Valhalla is a free trading nation erected by three world powers for their own benefits after the world war. In an attempt to control the nation, the three world powers banned the army from Valhalla. Due to these circumstances, public order in Valhalla is always unstable and thus after ten years the Valhalla government made a bold decision.
The Valhalla government granted civilians the right to investigate and arrest criminals in order to lower the rising crime rate. People call them Troubleshooter.
10 years have passed since the introduction of the troubleshooter system. Albus, a 20-year-old young man, becomes an official troubleshooter. Albus first starts his company on his own but soon takes in many colleagues as he solves more cases. All these new members of the company have their own motivations and stories. You will be experiencing a variety of missions in Valhalla through their stories.

All characters in Troubleshooter have their own unique classes. Each character can rank up to the upper class, and the role of your character changes according to the class.
All characters in Troubleshooter can acquire various masteries according to their levels and classes. Furthermore, you can activate additional effects by combinations of masteries. Utilizing this, you can make a character for your unique strategy.
Such masteries can be acquired by leveling your character up. However, in most cases, you can acquire masteries from enemies. In other words, you can take your enemies' unique traits and apply them to your characters.
There are more than 100 unique missions in Troubleshooter. All missions are designed independently, and all of them have their own unique circumstances.
Troubleshooter uses more than 500 cut scenes to portray the story.
As new characters join your company, playable content will be unlocked according to their roles. For example, if you recruit a hunter character, you will be able to tame beasts. You will be able to craft drones if you recruit engineers.

For the price its at... definitely recommended. Nice korean man hwa style story. Shows u the events from different angles. But like all Korean stories, it repeats/recaps.... a lot lol. 8.5/10 for me. Good times with the crew.
I'm midway through my first playthrough, and I have to say that this is pretty good all-in-all. The combat is snappy, it copies a lot from the X-Com remakes (ie 2 actions a turn, attacking immediately ends your turn) and works well. The biggest negative is that the story is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's awful. The dialogue is just... It's like the person who wrote it has heard about humans, but never actually interacted with one. I don't mean that "the dialogue is very Korean/asian" (which it is, and so it's extremely weird in English), but **on top of that** it's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nonsense. I play games *for* the narrative, so it's not like I'm skipping through dialogue in every game. But I'm getting close to doing that here because it just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hurts to read. So if you're looking for a game that is' *mechanically* good and you have a high tolerance for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥, nonsensical story, where people talk in the most pompous way possible as if they were thinking "if I were the only human on the planet and everyone else was just the ♥♥♥♥ under my boot, what would I say in this moment?", then this is the game for you. So far, 20hrs in, the mechanics outweigh the narrative. Just. (If you look at the About Us page on Dandylion's website, none of the staff there are credited as the writer. Please, for the love of all that's holy, hire a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ writer for the next game. *And* a translator who understands that translation has to be cultural and not merely literal.....) Edit: I appreciate the Devs taking time to respond to this. Beyond simply hiring more staff (ie a full-time writer), a middle solution could be to pay a writer a one-time fee to improve the next script once it has been written. Also, I don't see how 'getting the game translated' is a barrier, given that there are over 3,000 reviews in English (a small percentage of the actual sales): if the constant recurring criticism of your game is the translation/story, it's a pretty easy guess what the one/two things you can do to increase sales are..... Edit 2, roughly 38hrs of play according to Steam: I give up, and I'm changing my review to negative. I have no idea what's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ going on in this game, it's just random ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nonsense> I gave up in Scenario 18 (maybe 19?). It opens on Ryo talking to a guy. But wait: I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ arrested Ryo already. He's been beaten. How is he here? And this is a recurring problem in the game: I've had to fight the same 4 boss guys 4 or 5 times already (Sharky, Jason, others), and they just. keep. showing. up. The game doesn't acknowledge this in any way, nor does it explain things at all. Worse: Ryo has his I-don't-care conversation with Jason, then a bunch of the 'cult' guys show up (in what sense is it a cult? They all wear masks and carry a spoon. What the ♥♥♥♥? Do... Do the writers not know what a cult is?) for a show down. Then two more other people I DO NOT CARE ABOUT show up, and then the game asks if I want to play as Ryo or the cult guys. How about I don't play as either of these groups of people that I do not give a flying ♥♥♥♥ about? This is the 5th or 6th time the game has asked me to play with people who are not my team, to do something that does not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ matter. The overall direction in this game is criminally incompetent. I thought I was going to be interested in a better-written sequel, but if the same people work on it then the sequel will be absolutely ♥♥♥♥.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great game amazing combat and customization
One of the best tactical rpgs ever made, only negative when i played a few years ago was the always online, so i couldn't use cheat engine to turn on speed hack and make the animations go even faster, i'm so used to doing that everytime i play a turn based game to save time, helps a lot on games that require grinding, like this one when i was trying to get a dragon for the sniper (Giselle). I'll buy the sequel as soon as it's available immediately.
