Great, relaxing city-builder with a twist (you're a dictator), nice scenery and great music. Still holds up. It's a joy to be Generalissimo.
This is an old favorite game and I spent MANY hours enjoying this game. Had the CD's previously and I don't know which box they are stored in, but now bought again (for nostalgia's sake) on steam just for the convenience of having all my game collections in one place. Now it's easy to transfer to new computers when I need an upgrade. (my old gaming laptop the screen hinges are breaking, so needed new computer ASAP!). It's a city building sim game focusing on island living (ya, my favorite day dream! Island living!). Gotta make money, but gotta keep your citizen's happy (I have always wanted to keep my citizen's happy too!). I would definitely buy again, but now I don't have too because of Steam. Thank you!

I know all OG's will say Tropico 3 is the best but for me personally I believe Tropico 4 is the best. However, after you will learn the game this one becomes the easiest of them all therefore that might not be a good thing. I was in high school when I was playing this one so maybe age had an impact. Tropico 4 always triggers my Nostalgia.
