This is a nightmare! Why can't I see the enemy ship's weapon name and stats? Why can't I see the enemy crew's abilities? Why can't I see the stats of enemy systems during combat? Why do I have to go to the encyclopedia and memorize weapon silhouettes to learn all this information so I can understand their stats during combat? The graphics are beautiful, no doubt about it. But it's really hard to see the weapon textures with all their glitter and shimmer. And the bosses guarding the gates are incredibly unfair to the player. The first boss, who has four weapons that deal 40 damage to the shield and hull, 10-second camouflage every 10 seconds, abilities that prevent dodging, and an anti-missile drone, is just like the final boss from FTL, but on the first system in your game. Conclusion: There's not enough interactive information on the enemy ship. And the gate guards are unfair. I'll try a different mode instead of a campaign. Maybe it will be more pleasant there. Update I've played for 32 hours and want to change my mind about the game. The soundtrack and graphics are beyond praise. The difficulty is fine. You just need to get used to the difficulty escalation mechanics. The power peaks very quickly, when the crew and ship upgrades allow you to farm scrap and credits without the risk of losing a lot of durability, fuel, food, and supplies. On the downside, the campaign is short. The fact that you can only get new, cool guns by earning achievements. That means the enemy has the coolest guns, and you need to unlock these guns to be able to buy them in the game. The boarding tactics are too strong and unbalanced. You can have absolutely no weapons and still defeat any enemy in 10 seconds (this won't work on drones). There's no sense of rushing past the end of the story. You can slowly grind for six months or a year until you've maxed out your entire ship and crew. And with a fully upgraded ship and crew, even three enemy ships in a row are a piece of cake. I don't think asking the developer to spend more time developing and polishing this game is worth it. In any case, thank you guys for your time and for an interesting game. The time and money spent are well worth it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

tl;dr: If you liked FTL and want more and shinier, go for this one. If you didn't like FTL, you won't like this either. If you haven't played FTL, go do that one first - it's better, and it's the original. This game is basically FTL But With Fancier Graphics, but FTL's great, and fancier graphics are great, and it's different enough that even if you've played FTL to death, there will be new stuff here for you. The music's good, even if it's no Ben Prunty soundtrack, and the writing is... well, not that great, actually, but you can't have everything. A lot of the reviews complain about difficulty; I'd say that the game is difficult, yeah, but not unfairly so. FTL vets certainly won't be thrown by the difficulty curve, and if you're not an FTL vet, you should go play FTL first anyway. Other than that, keep an eye on your bounty level and don't forget to upgrade your ship, and things shouldn't go vertical on you too suddenly and unexpectedly. Or you can always just crank the difficulty level down to "easy."
Basically a rehash of FTL, better graphics, some cool improvements but falls far short in some very big ways. Combat is unbalanced, once you figure it out it's way too easy. It's like the devs said "lets make a crappy clone of FTL with better graphics". The story also seems like it was written by a third grader. Overall very disappointing. The sad part is that the shortcomings could be fixed if the dev's cared but the whole thing just seems like it was a money grab thrown together to ride the coattails of FTL.
Beat the hard difficulty so I definitely have the right to say something about this game The game is ok, u can have the little bit of fun if u r into sci fi stuff and get the logic behind the combat in game, the issue is it doesnt have much content, the only thing make u keep playing it is unlocking more gear and achievement Bought it at 80% discount, it's acceptable
Eigentlich schade.
The game is almost unplayable
Shalowed Variationof FTL Mechanics + Nice graphic Less polished than FTL. Can be fun for max 10-15h Verdict 50/100
If you like FTL, you'll like this, however this seems like it's got a much harder difficulty curve. I have trouble making it out of the first sector.
A very good game like FTL . Excellent graphics, can have a little bit of BS difficulty spokes but its , great overall!
