OK so this is basically just a proof of concept, not even quite a demo very very very very very cool and very very very very very promising The problem is that 6 months and 8 days have passed since there were any signs of life from the dev on steam. 4 months ago the dev replied to someone on twitter that he is still working on the game, but that's the absolute last anyone has heard from him. It's another abandoned early access game, unfortunately
Tricky Madness is a love letter to SSX and its true successor. It's for the kids who got stupidly good at SSX growing up. It's for the unappreciated era of over-the-top sports games, for the people who still love EA Sports BIG. The unique thing Tricky Madness does with the SSX formula is ditch the boost meter entirely. There's no charging it up for a temporary burst. Instead, how fast you go is always dependent on your last trick. Your speed is a direct result of what you just pulled off. This results in a game that is always nail biting, always on trick away from making or breaking world record and that's truly what sets this game apart

really enjoy this, absolutely BEGGING for workshop support for custom maps and characters to really blow this game up
I think the highest compliment that's repeatedly given is, "Can you give us the option of custom soundtracks so that I can play SSX Tricky/3/ On Tour music while playing" That means you nailed the feel of your game & that it is in the essence of those vintage projects. Being a high level SSX 3 player for 20+ years it's amazing that the feel is nailed down so early. Very grateful to live long enough to see the eye to detail being preserved and utilized. Most importantly, the dev listens. An already brilliant mind on top of a knowledgable playerbase will bode well. 10,000 sales and counting should tell you something. You look up and we're in an era where we have SSX, THPS, and NBA Street back within the same generation. I say this to say the only game that is ahead is SSX 3. In this preliminary state mind you. Cannot wait for the future.
Fairly bare-bones atm but still quite fun to play, runs great, and definitely has an SSX feel to it. Looking forward to more content being added!
It's abandonware lol, obviously just a proof of concept
it is good fun perfect replacement for ssx tricky actually a bit better
ITS TRICKIII LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
why get ssx tricky when you can get ssx freaky
The SSX series on PlayStation was my go to franchise for pure gaming fun. Long after the end of EA Sports BIG, finding that fun has been difficult. Until now. This game has the fun I remember and loved. Play along with your favorite SSX Spotify list and re-live one of the greatest franchises to exist! It’s TRICKY! Adding more tracks and add to console are what I’m looking forward to in the future. Excellent excellent excellent
