Extremely buggy mess and becomes unplayable if you change simple settings. Even in normal gameplay, the game is really not that fun and you honestly find yourself asking "why did I buy this game" after more time you spend with it. Overall 2/10, at least the concept is cool
[PROS] The graphics are pretty decent for both the environment and the monsters. Lots of loot boxes, just like Torchlight and Diablo. This is essentially VR Torchlight minus the variety. It's multiplayer. [OK] The long range combat is ok [CONS] I don't know why, but melee combat with swords just feels terrible and not fun, and maybe even annoying. I feel like I'm just swinging and I can't see what's happening to the Ork until they die. It feels repetitive even early in the game. There's no story. This is a minor gripe. [VERDICT] It's a nice VR Diablo lite, that's best played with other people. It's not so great playing alone unless you really enjoy near mindless hack n slash games

It's a cool tech demo. But after an hour and a half, it's painfully clear that the game already has expended all of its content. It isn't bad, it's fun, but the biggest problem is how bad of a memory leak the game has. Seriously, you'll have to restart the game every 20 minutes, or suffer through some pretty rough lag. I wouldn't recommend this game at its current price point. Maybe if it was $5 or something
very bad movement system
It's a great game! Wish more people played it
This has got to be one of my favorite VR games. I did play vr dungeon crawlers but this was the first coop dungeon player i played. Its fun to play with other people and go on missions together. Some fights get repetitive but considering that vr dungeon crawlers do tend to tire you out physically and can also cause nausea for some, people generally don't play these for hours on end.
TLDR; Don't get this game. It's UI, controls and annoying design choices are so frustrating. I remember this game was pretty decent when I first downloaded it a couple of years ago. However, they've updated it since then and made the game virtually unplayable. The majority of the difficulty in the game comes from clunky UI and controls. Perhaps the developers figured it was easier to design a sloppy UI and block the player's vision instead of programming good AI. Here's a summary of my experience when trying the recent version of the game: - That annoying voice that they added for the guardian is horrible and it never ever shuts up - Movement and controls feels outdated and buggy (Got stuck in the environment a couple of times) - No real "impact" when hitting enemies with melee weapons, If i didn't see the enemy health bar I wouldn't know if my hits registered or not. - Bow and arrow controls are really sub-par. Half of the time the arrow doesn't even attach to the damn bow. This is especially noticable when comparing to the bow & arrow game in "The lab" - Serious clipping issues (Player clips through everything. Enemies, environment, weapons) - UI controls is horrible. I had to spend up to a minute just to click a damn button, either the "pointer" doesn't show up at all or the button simply refuses to be pressed -- The UI when playing the "Wave" mode is especially obnoxious. They flash a big screen covering your entire field of vision and asks you to upgrade your useless weapons and items in the midst of a fight. This paired with the before mentioned clunky UI controls is a nightmare - Items are too large and strong colored and "in your face". I get it, It's good to know where they are but there are so many of them and they block you from seeing the enemies
(This is a temporary negative review until fix) Playing on Valve Index and locomotion does not work as intended. If you move forward for some reason it teleports instead of walking. Luckily I had my old vive wands and it works perfectly with them. Game is really fun, coop mode is super cool and unlocking and lvling up the weapons is fun. For this price its a must have just please fix the Index control scheme and make it possible to change teleport to the small touch pads or add the option to disable it completely if changing it to the touchpad isnt possible.
Awesome game to play with friends. Fencing got cancelled so we decided to get our sword fighting in virtually. Combat is simple but with enough options to keep things interesting. Magic is quick and doesn't take too much time to figure out. RPG elements are blended well. Only con I can see is the narrator who talks to you most of the game might get a little tiresome after a while. We'll see.
