Quick summary, Great VN, not something I want to dig into as a game. Highly recommended if you want a good story first and foremost. Actual choices on offer, the characters, and the way the story unfolds are the highlights of the experience. Character interactions started and remained top notch all the way throughout. This is the reason to play the game full stop. To the point that I'd say if you're not into these then you should probably pass. Loved the way the story develops. I don't have much to say here really. Every little decision I made felt acknowledged and respected. Not until the endgame did I feel like I was being railroaded. Loved seeing every new turn the story took and every new character that popped up along the way. It remained engaging from beginning to end with no dips. Speaking of endings... (No direct spoilers) For the record I only did 1 of them, but after seeing what my options were narrowed down to by endgame, I wouldn't even want to play the others. The buildup was fantastic. I really want to stress this as it might sound as though I didn't enjoy it. It really felt like the culmination of everything I was working toward with my earlier decisions with callbacks to events both big and small. The ending itself was bad. I didn't go for the true route, but this turned out to not actually respect the decisions I made along the way, but suddenly shifted at the end to instead preach to me about how things are always bad and you need to instead stop all that lame RP nonsense you were doing and instead pull up a guide to get the real ending where everything is sunshine and rainbows. Legendary fumble. IMO they should have just dropped the whole true ending nonsense and made the other endings actually stand on their own instead of serving as an indictment of the world and characters. Combat started off great, but toward the latter half just became a chore to slog through. Little things that just felt like casual conveniences in the early game were making me want to give up once the heat was turned up. I would strongly recommend to play on easy and treat this as a VN unless you happen to really like this combat system. A couple highlight gripes from me would be just how squishy your units are, and how abusable terrain/positioning are. Things can be going great then suddenly two enemies attack the same unit and they're deleted with zero possible interaction from my end. Should have cheesed harder ggs. (This particular example reached comical levels on one mission where I had to protect an AI party member that was absolutely dead set on throwing their life away.) Outside of the early game, I never once felt like I made it through the tough battles with plans, gear, or rpg team synergies. Every time the going got tough for me the answer ended up being to play like I did when I was 10 and just pump more damage so they can't hit back, to spam extra turns like this was Rogue Trader, or to abuse enemy pathfinding. I really don't want to see the results of other choices (despite me being very interested from a story PoV) primarily because of the combat. Sidenote: I think I'd prefer if the game were balanced around extra turns and the whole Quietus system not existing rather than every fight being an outnumbered underdog story where I have to make big plays (read: cheese) instead of just solid teambuilding/formation. Localization is functional, but riddled with rewrites. You will have no trouble following the story or understanding the stakes, but beware that if you can't understand the audio, many little bits of characterization in the writing are literally just fan-fiction. I can't stress how constant this is at some points of the story. Here's but one tiny example for people that have played it:
"My love" is literally, not once, in the text.
Like I said, it's nothing big or impactful, but it is just a constant assault on my intelligence as whoever was localizing this had the audacity to sit there and say "Here's how I would have wrote this line" instead of actually letting the audience know what the writer intended to convey.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
A solid B+/A-. The story is well written, but just a bit of predictable having played a lot of jrpg. Battle/gameplay is a bit too simple for my taste, compared to other titles like ff tactics/langrisser/shining force, etc. A bit linear. Overall it's a very good game. worth picking up on when on sales IMO.
I thought this would be a final fantasy tactics and octopath traveler mix made in heaven. It looks like it, but certainly doesnt feel like it. I dont like the story which seems to have 3 nations in conflict over nothing really. I dont like the boring MC and i actively dislike his girlfriend who is being discriminated against for.... having gorgeous pink hair? Come on. There is also no fluidity to the gameplay. Everything feels half baked and clunky. Every mechanic, every attack, every animation, every menu. Its all clunky. I tried a lot but i feel myself getting drowsy every time i run this game.
I would absolutely recommend this game to fans of turn-based tactics games that feature story-telling, progression systems, and branching narrative paths as main selling points. There is a fair bit of asset re-use throughout this game through the 'Mental Mock Battle' system, but by in large this game is an excellent single playthrough. The music is quite good, but I really wish some of the most-repeated tracks would have arrangements or variation. You'll hear the 'Encampment Music' theme in your dreams after a full game of leveling up, tweaking stats/gear, etc. Many games have this issue, but it's something I wanted to mention. There's also a NewGame+ feature to allow you to roll over your progression into a fresh story to explore other paths missed the first time around. There's nothing world-breaking here, but if you can pick it up for a decent discount I think you'll enjoy yourself. It exceeded my modest expectations.
Promosso a pieni voti.
Many people ask for a game where your choices matter, well TRIANGLE STRATEGY is exactly that. multiple different endings , a bunch of twists and turns in the amazing story line. i enjoyed how the story was told as well, made it easy to follow along. most of these hd-2d games are super basic storylines where you just have to save your village from a monster or something but this is much more , an entire realm in conflict and you get to choose how to go about it ... 10/10 would recommend .
