Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter

This is my 1st Trails game and so far I think this might be one of the best games I've played. The combat is very enjoyable and different than most JRPGs while also giving you the option to play ARPG style some of the time. The story takes quite a lot of time for setup, but it's so worth it. It feels a lot like a slice of life anime. I also very much appreciate the devs adding Ultrawide support, as a lot of Japanese games I play just don't support it. The Steam startup option to just jump right back into your save right away, skipping the main menu is also amazing and I haven't played any other games that have that feature.

Ich habe das Original nie gespielt, aber man merkt, dass diese Neuauflage mit viel Herz entwickelt wurde. Die Grafik ist hübsch, die Vertonung ist super, und das Spiel läuft flüssig und einwandfrei. Der High-Speed-Modus, mit dem man das Spiel beschleunigen kann, ist ein gottgesandtes Quality of Life Feature, welches ich mir auch bei anderen JRPGs wünschen würde. Beeindruckt hat mich auch, wie schnell das Spiel lädt. Über Steam hat man die Möglichkeit, direkt vom letzten Speicherstand aus fortzufahren, und bei mir hat das Spiel maximal eine halbe Minute, meistens deutlich weniger, gebraucht, um zu laden, und ich konnte sofort losspielen. Hut ab für diese Optimierungsleistung! Zum Ausprobieren des Spiels kann ich die Demo definitiv empfehlen. Sie dauert 6-10 Stunden. Also genug Inhalt, um herauszufinden, ob das Spiel einem gefällt oder nicht.
