About
Your empire faces relentless invasions from the savage Artronids, threatening its very existence. As Commander, you are the last line of defense against the deadly enemy onslaught. In this endlessly replayable experience, every battle presents fresh challenges with unpredictable outcomes.
Take control of the battlefield by shaping the very ground your enemies march on. Expand and modify terrain tiles to create choke points, forcing enemies into lethal artillery fire or luring them into carefully laid traps. Height and pathing are your greatest weapons—use them wisely to dictate the flow of battle and secure victory.

Each faction brings its own arsenal to the battlefield, featuring unique biomes, towers, and strategies. Their distinct playstyles shape how you build defenses, deploy units, and control the fight. With 10 unique heroes per faction, each possessing their own strengths and abilities, there are always new tactics to discover and strategies to master.

War is unpredictable, but true Commanders adapt. After each wave, select from a set of upgrades and rewards to reinforce your strategy. Assess enemy strengths and weaknesses, adjusting your defenses to counter their advance. No two battles end the same way, as each new tile placement forces you to plan one step ahead.

There's a wide variety of content to unlock as you progress through the game. Heroes are earned through achievements, building upgrades are discovered, and the Codex is packed with secrets to uncover. With four difficulty levels, an endless 'Frontier Mode', and every playthrough offering new challenges, Tower Dominion provides a highly replayable experience.
Survival depends on constant innovation and adaptation. Every alien wave is a unique combination of Artronids that will test your ability to adapt. Are you ready to employ innovative tactics, build impregnable defenses and hold the line? Commander, your troops await your orders!

Enjoyable at normal challenge levels, but falls apart at maximum challenge. I can still recommend the game if you're not interested in going for the highest challenge and just want a fun roguelike - but if it bothers you that the end game is entirely RNG dependant, it won't be for you. It doesn't fall apart because it's just "too hard" but rather that victory stops being dependant on player skill and becomes entirely dependant on what the game offers you to use. Don't get offered any economy options until wave 30? You lose. Huge flyer wave inbound and you've been offered no anti-air options? You lose. Partway through shaping the map with 8 entry points up front and one still in the back? Well, that one entry point is where the biggest threat is coming from - you lose. There are some questionable balancing choices that make certain counters unreliable - which just adds an extra layer of RNG. Invisible enemies SHOULD be countered by Detection - but towers with Detection do not prioritise invisible enemies, so they'll plink away at enemies your other towers can kill letting the invisible ones through. Infantry can also work as a counter since they destroy invisible enemies that run into them - but you have no control over which direction they leave your base, so half of them will just wander out the back door and never encounter the invisible enemies. These problems pigeon-hole players into either hoping they unlock the one specific tower that can grant everything Detection or just massing as much AoE damage as possible and just hoping invisible enemies die to that since focused fire simply isn't possible. Despite the above, remember that it's still fun at "normal" challenge levels, so don't stress about the meta if you're not planning on going all in.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Looks good but it's boring to play. They paired each level with a RNG pick a card mechanic. This sucks.
AWFUL game. A complete waste of time and money. I had MULTIPLE RUNS where I turned getting attacked from 4 ways into a 1 way lane and still lost to goofy af invisible enemies who kill you the wave they spawn in because there's only 2 buildings out of 30+ buildings you can place that can even shoot directly at them. I'd rather have hot coals shoved up my ass then play this game for another second. What a joke. People who had no idea how to even make a video game and used the Warcraft 3 engine to make a TD game made better games than this dumpster juice of a game. Worst purchase I've made all year
Really fun tower defence game. Enough variety to make it interesting. Would definitely buy if more maps or factions became available
Great game but some dumb features. Doctrine J35 just randomly take away all of my health somehow. I also don't like how flying enemies go off of the map.
Challenging and satisfying. Strategy will get you gains, but sometimes the game just brings the pain.
I kept trying to like this game because I like its general concept of sort of creating the map yourself as you go, and the wide variety of towers and heroes on display, but unfortunately the amount of negatives this game has far outweigh any positives it may have. You've seen it in other reviews, but the RNG paired with the harsh resource limitation and ridiculous amount of enemies really is just the worst aspect of the game and completely kills it, you just need to get lucky enough to get amazing towers and upgrades early or you might as well just restart. Some may say that's just how roguelites are, to that I say you don't actually understand what a good roguelite is, or have played many roguelites to begin with, because good roguelites will still let the player push through with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ RNG. Higher difficulties of this game however aren't actually difficult, they're just extremely luck-reliant. Do you get those amazing towers and upgrades earlier or not? That's all the winning factor is, your early luck, because the game will throw so many enemies at you that you can only deal with without leaking constantly by getting lucky enough to deal with it. For as much as I want to like this game, it's simply not worth playing over basically any other tower defense game in existence due to how artificially difficult it is, it does not respect player freedom or skill expression, it just wants you to get lucky and that's it. Genuinely one of the worst feeling tower defense games I've ever played, and I've played quite a few, I love tower defense games. Just disappointing that this one feels so terrible when it's so promising, and nothing has seemed to change any time I pop back in to try the game again.
Im here after finding an old wanderbot video! Im having a good time, Im constently having flash backs to early 2000s flash games like this from mini clip or new grounds. Its a lot of fun. I still dont know what a pit is, but other wise, one or two runs a day is a good way to kill a lunch break
Too much rng, not enough strategy. I won't elaborate, try the game and suffer it yourself.
