About
Featuring:
Constant endless unit production from your shipyards. Each ship is autonomous, they seek your opponents and prioritize what they are best suited to fight. Witness vast battles. Though you cannot directly control your units in the interference of the Spance, you can create waypoint chains to direct where shipyards send your fleets.
Inspired by the gameplay of Obliterate Everything by CWWallis.
A fast-paced singleplayer campaign with over 40 missions where you fight both with and against each of the main factions. Delve the secrets of the Spance, and annihilate your opposition. Overcome the horrors of the storm and wield the might of interstellar armadas.
Annihilate The Spance is a real-time strategy game focused on a singleplayer campaign that sees you handle base building, economy, and armadas of autonomous starships. In ATS your units cannot be commanded individually, but you have many solutions to direct them towards your goals. Each ship has its own intelligent AI, and will attempt to do its best alongside its brethren in the heat of battle.
Test your ability to respond to situations as they change and shift in the chaotic tide of a 3D battlefield. ATS features an unlocked height plane, allowing starships to fly up, down, and around their enemies. Battles are multiple stories high, and can bend and shift as new vessels with unique capabilities arrive upon the battlefield. ATS has a greatly varied unit scale, ranging from tiny drones to kilometers-long capital ships that can level entire bases multiple times over.
Each ship in ATS is autonomous, targeting and attacking on its own initiative while you focus on making higher-level strategic decisions. Plan your fleet composition carefully. Calculate build cycles. Make tactical positioning decisions. There is no single ship that can win this battle. Compose a mixture of ships from across your entire selection of blueprints. Exploit your enemies' weaknesses and capitalize on your strengths to annihilate the enemy.
The Story
ATS is set in a future embroiled in conflict following the discovery of a mysterious, ultra-dense nebula-like anomaly known as the Spance. An ancient, roiling storm of matter and energy, the Spance has roamed the galaxy for eons and dragged hundreds of solar systems into its depths. Extreme and inexplicable phenomena make navigation of the Spance treacherous, but the unfathomable riches contained within offer a lucrative new frontier full of promise. However, not all is as it seems.
Four interlinked campaigns will take you through the depths of the Spance. Encounter each of the major factions as they struggle toward their goals for the Spance and its treasures, all the while gaining access to new units and technologies. Learn the unique doctrines needed to command the military might of the Kontaalen Armada, the united fleets of the Vaalkorei Coalition mercantile guilds, and the experimental technologies of Emar's Tychon Division. Delve ever deeper into the impenetrable abyss of the Spance and unlock its secrets.

No in mission save function, and constant issues with crashing in long games. Stability desperately needs to get fixed, as there is currently no point in even trying to beat the harder/longer campaign levels when it crashes towards the end of the level every time.
5/7 - Great but get it on sale Obliterate Everything 4 we never got, RIP Cwwalis This game is a spiritual successor to the Obliterate Everything tug-of-war space strategy games one could play on Kongregate back in the glorious days of Flash Now for the review part - The good: Available content: Currently you have access to two factions that play pretty differently from each other, good stuff. Gameplay - Strategy game with a twist: Your units build endlessly the moment you put down the facility that builds it. It's a tug of war, rock-paper-scissors strategy, you build your economy, build the first yards, look at what the enemy is attacking with > counter, although there are few generalist units and nothing is really stopping you from just swarming with Tollies. Overall, solid and keeps you engaged Graphics - Unitycore, if you've seen Unturned that's basically it. Simple, readable, pleasant and the lighting is done well. Although explosions are pretty lame, especially when big things blow up Music - Great, the space fish boss theme had me locked in the entire fight. Sound - Good, heavy weapons hit hard, big hits on large craft sound satisfying. The bad: Price - This is a niche game with not enough content to warrant being as expensive as it is Lack of content - This game has enough content for about 15 hours with no career wide unlocks, upgrades and such

If you like Obliterate Everything 3, you'll probably like this game too. The difference is there are no out of campaign progression you can do. There are no Armory, you can't `farm` for better ships, turrets, or upgrades like in OE3. No shops. Keep in mind the game is in Early Access. Try the demo if you are still unsure.
Solid base concept, interesting gameplay, but given it's beta status, only a sort of demo level content is available and all the rest is locked as "under development", and secondly there are severe balance issues, in the Kreydell campaign, at least two of the missions is impossible to play/win even at the relaxed difficulty and rest of missions tend to be extremely difficult and challanging, instead of being 'relaxed' difficulty level.
Interesting take on RTS focusing on base building.
Relaxing and challenging at the same time. This is a piece of art.
Nothing I've played before now has scratched that itch for watching huge amount of spaceships blow each other to smithereens like a space opera admiral. I'm looking forward to the 3rd faction and more of the campaign to release.
Solid Game,
great game... different and addictive with tons of synergy with different types of units and factions. great progressing story line great job devs!
While I love this game and the strategies used to play it. I just can't help but be upset with the balancing of the last level of kreydell. Why did the Soul Wardens already high damaging 4 main front cannons get buffed to fire weaker but still super strong massive aoe attacks 5 times per gun, it was already super powerful before but now bases get killed in a single burst from one gun. Moving on from the Soul warden on of my biggest annoyances with the campaign or enemies/allies in general is the fact that they don't expand their forces, or they start with preset bases that they don't even bother rebuilding, you know ONE OF THE MAIN COMPENETS OF THIS GAME WHICH IS BASE BUILDING, like I understand having preset bases that's fine but can't the AI even be bothered to even try to rebuilding destroyed structures? They have build timers so it's not broken, and the AI would still have a limited economy. The last mission feels so frustrating because you are the only one actually doing something while Ajax and the other guy do ♥♥♥♥ all with the stuff they get besides having the regular base and units they start with. It would be so much more engaging if you have to defend the one guy so he can build up his forces while you give assistance to Ajax who should continue expanding or just rebuilding his base. OR have a simple balance change where it takes TIME for the soul warden to warp in and then Ajax's timer starts so that you can get some economy before Ajax is already dead.. I love the gameplay I just wish that your allies and enemies actually did something from the ground up without starting with an entire base that they do nothing with. The cool nature of ATS is that bases are constantly changing and growing because of the spance and its abundance of resources, while more ships are being produced and are fighting and being destroyed among the chaos. To be fair to the devs I am playing on an unbalanced test version so I will potentially change my review to recommended if the balancing of the levels becomes better.
