Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best UK #75, worst UA #100 · 9 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Happy 25 anniversary, Total War! Here's to another 25 years of corporate neglect! Maybe by then you'll actually finish developing the game, after chopping it into little pieces that you sell to us one by one of course.
So sad to see how we went from this absolute masterpiece of a game to the current state of the total war franchise. Seeing how they treat their fans, content creators and the franchise as a whole, paired with disgusting business practices means I can't personally recommend or support any of the games or projects CA are working on.
I can no longer log into my account which means I can not use all my DLC I have purchased. what a waste of money!
Sid Meier's Civilization mixed with the most satisfying RTS I've ever played. Unbelievably addicting. One second you are negotiating trade relations and building your cities, the next you are commanding an army of 1000 soldiers. Incredible animations during the massive clashes. Highlight of my gameplay so far was after a long fight, all of my melee troops were exhausted and battered. I had everyone retreat to my archers, and from there, one final push to hold the enemy at bay as overwhelming numbers crashed onto my army. The archers were just enough to take down their leader before sending the rest scattering. Never have I gotten so hype playing an RTS, I felt like Napolean.
锤三玩了90小时,最后实在接受不了选择回锤二。锤二没有三那么鲜艳的画面色彩,优化卡顿方面也很完善,最重要的是攻城战省心太多了

DONT BUY IF YOU WANT DLC ITS BROKEN BUY IT ON EPIC GAMES OR MICROSOFT FOR THE LAUNCHER TO REGISTER THE DLC
I have 150 hours on TW: Warhammer I, and 500 on TW: Warhammer II. It seems like Creative Assembly isn't the same company which made TW: Rome, Medieval, and this one. Recent offerings are meh at best, and they seem to have evolved into a cash-grab developer. But I find the two Warhammer games to be the best in the series (III was less than meh). Whether you combine I and II and play Immortal Empires, or just play II, the gameplay in II completely sucks me in. It can be frustrating, and I usually abandon games somewhere along the way and start with a new faction. But I always have fun for awhile, and the various factions offer a lot of different aspects. And the mods add even more utility. If you want a good Total War experience, Warhammer II is my recommendation. And also the most recent one I would suggest. I think that the franchise hit its final peak with this game. If you don't like the fantasy aspect, maybe try Rome Remastered. I've quickly abandoned Brittania, Troy, and Warhammer III. The vibes were off, and I knew I would enjoy WH II again. I don't begrudge those who like subsequent game. But I think Creative Assembly is just pushing out product and isn't interested in matching previous quality levels. But Warhammer II is everything his franchise can do. Highly recommended. The expansions are worth it on sale, as well.
