14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

You losers shouldn't require me to have an online connection for DLC I paid for, installed on MY drive. 9 year old game and you morons figure out how to soft brick it. You suck at your jobs.
As of this date, I haven't yet switched to Warhammer III. "Why?" You may ask, given its better siege mechanics, diplomacy, and so on and so forth... One, my laptop would likely burst into flames after prolonged gameplay, but two - and more importantly - I can't simply leave this one behind, not yet. I have played it for 500+ hours and have not yet managed to play all of the factions I wanted to explore. Their individual “quests”, to be exact - the Vortex campaigns. Discounting the basic ones - fighting for the Vortex itself - which you can enjoy only once or twice, the campaigns tied with the stories of individual lords have so much to offer. I cannot recommend them enough - Huntsmarshal's expedition into the jungle, Snikch's quest for the power source, Bretonnia's crusade, amber hunt of the Twilight sisters, Tombkings' hunt for the Pyramid, Elvish Batman seeking revenge… - all engaging you from the very start and so, so rewarding due to the included cut-scenes. If you are new to TW series, like fantasy, can appreciate some absurd flavours here and there and are willing to tolerate some mechanical imbalance, TW Warhammer 2 is for you. It is simpler than other titles (less intense than W3), easier to master, and therefore makes for a good entry into the series. Not to mention, the campaigns to which I sing praises here, serve as perfect introductions to each of the included factions, teaching you the ins and outs of their respective gameplay styles. Plus, once you get down to it, it may feel like many different games merged in one. I am just in awe of the plethora of unique gameplay styles associated with each faction, including the more subtle differences connected with individual lords. The uniqueness of each faction that was achieved in TW Warhammer series is unsurpassed. It does not make for an exactly well-balanced game, but the different gameplay styles are so interesting you'll be willing to let it slide. Adding to the havoc, but very appreciated still, is the presence of magic. If you've ever wanted to throw a fireball (or something larger) into a deftly assembled blob of enemy units, you can definitely do so here (and be duly annoyed when your own army gets hit by a warp lightning for a 5th time in a single battle). As hinted above, I also love Warhammer titles for their special combination of grim-dark and parodic vibes - it is completely unhinged. I still keep discovering new things to be amused by – yes, yesss. All in all, W2 may not offer much compared to W3 with regard to general gameplay (except perhaps more peace without the incessant demon invasions), but its value lies in its Vortex campaigns, which, in my humble opinion, make it worth of your attention even today.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best UK #75, worst UA #100 · 9 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game wiped all my saves and wont let me access the DLC I paid for. Lost 42 hours worth of progress for no reason at all.
Not only you have to buy 50%(or more) of the game as dlc`s, but blood in total war game is also a dlc. Not only some gameplay features are logically ass backwards and infuriating. Not only you can play multiplayer campains only with one of your friends, despite there being like 15 other staring options. But now it turns out CA stores your safe files and checks your dlc(which you bought and downloaded) on cloud and not any cloud, but god awfull Epic Games servers, which gives more reason to accept epic as mistake of humanity. There is no reason to give in for predatory selling schemes. Better download free version with green tag on it. Do not endorse this kind of ♥♥♥♥.
the best of the three games. would recommend people neither buy 1 or 3 and instead be happy with 2.
Warhammer Fantasy.
I really wanted to enjoy this game because I've been a long-time fan of the historical Total War titles. The battles are visually impressive, and there's clearly a lot of content, but Warhammer just wasn't for me. My biggest issue is how much the game revolves around magic, abilities, monsters, and faction-specific mechanics. Compared to games like Napoleon or Empire, where good tactics and positioning could carry you through most battles, Warhammer feels much more dependent on bringing the exact right units to counter the enemy. It often felt like I was fighting the game's mechanics rather than enjoying large-scale strategy. The Vortex campaign also felt overly complicated for a first playthrough, with rituals and race-specific objectives adding pressure when I was just trying to learn the game. My other major complaint is multiplayer. Like other Total War titles, there is still a noticeable input/synchronisation delay when playing campaign battles with friends. Every command feels slightly delayed compared to single player, and after experiencing it across multiple Total War games, it's something that really takes away from the enjoyment. I can see why many people love Warhammer, especially if they're fans of the fantasy setting. Unfortunately, I much prefer the historical Total War games where battles feel more grounded and success depends more on battlefield tactics than on spells, monsters, and unique faction mechanics. For me, this entry just wasn't as enjoyable as the classic Total War experience.
