Total War: SHOGUN 2

[b]Buy it, and buy it now while you can[/b] before CA's 'historical restoration' (according to [url=https://community.creative-assembly.com/total-war/total-war/blogs/92-total-war-thank-you-for-your-support-in-2025]their blog[/url]) efforts kick in with their historical revisionism, because [b]this will go out of stores[/b] when their 'complete edition' comes out, in what I can only describe as a lite version of a Blizzard-esque move with Warcraft 3 reforged. While it's not the most expansive Total War, it is the most well rounded and well polished, the perfect hybrid between older and new. You still have armies that can be led without generals, the action is fast paced with enough sturdiness in even your most basic troops to be able to react in time, unless heavy cavalry slams in the back of your most basic archers, or your cavalry slams in the front of a wall of spears. Almost every unit has its place, where guns are a big upgrade yet their shorter range keeps archers viable, not to mention affordable. The voice lines, while being google translate levels of Japanese, have that nostalgic meme-ability to them that we won't be getting in the newer version, and though Creative Assembly already split the community once by making the standalone expansion [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/201271/A_Total_War_Saga_FALL_OF_THE_SAMURAI/]Fall of the Samurai[/url] a 'saga' title in a vain attempt to save that project idea by showing what better developers in their company once created as if the newer ones were involved, it's the perfect accessory set in the most modern era in any Total War yet. While the new complete edition will be offering good, important additions like modern controls and resizable UI, the graphics in this game still live up. No other Total War has ever had such amazing smoke effects when a wall burns or a line of matchlocks/rifles fire, creating a wall of smoke that slowly blows away, coating the battlefield or simply causing a little local mist depending on the number of riflemen. The promised graphics upgrade lacks some of that soul but might not necessarily be bad, it's just that they have very little room to go except down, which is part of why I am convinced they want to remove the option for new people to the game to experience what it once truly was. I can only hope the Complete edition will bring back Avatar Conquest, keep the smoke effects pure, give an option to use the original voice lines, but they have shown little to nothing of that. Instead all the selling points focus on some good control updates, and the more dubiously sounding 'improved visuals' 'Japanese and Chinese voice acting' '50+ newly playable [b]minor[/b] factions' (read: No special traits like the major clans. All the factions were already in the game and mod makers already make them playable in this game) and 'integrated in-game mod support using mod.io' (read: All the old, existing mods from this 2011 title will no longer work for the new version, and you won't be able to get this game as a new player to experience such massive overhauls like Master of Strategy anymore..) So buy it while you can before October 13th 2026, because Creative Assembly doesn't want you to get the true Shogun 2 experience that made people fall in love with it. The DLC will be given for free to the people that own it once the new edition releases. ('Excluding the blood pack due to age ratings')

Fun game after every 3 or 6 month im here to play on story battle again, such game from childhood never can forget!!!

幕府将军2对中国人很友好，好玩好看，战斗场面我至今仍然认为是历史全站系列最好的，后面砍空气剑真的难看，幕府将军2是真的可以当电影看的。而且无论如何都是砍光所有鬼子，反正外交也没啥用，你去求和还不如直接杀光。日本人玩着可能就有点难受了，CA对日本历史那些很敷衍，岛津一二三都生出来了，然后织田的女儿，当时日本最美的女人，在游戏里建模跟鬼一样，而且游戏还不支持日语hhhhhh，真的太搞笑了。
