Total War: SHOGUN 2

One of the best strategy games ever made. The atmosphere, soundtrack, and Japanese setting are outstanding, and the battles still feel satisfying even after all these years. The game isn't perfect, though. The AI can be frustrating at times, diplomacy often feels unreliable, and the Realm Divide mechanic can make the late game feel repetitive. Despite these flaws, the core gameplay is so strong that it's easy to come back for "just one more campaign." If you enjoy grand strategy and tactical battles, Shogun 2 is absolutely worth playing.

It's quite an excellent game, I've always loved medieval Japanese culture and this game really does it justice in my opinion, I personally love the game, the battles, the campaigns and would highly recommend it, sadly my computer is not for gaming so I'm barely running it, and even then I love it, and I've seen clips of what it looks like on high computers and it can be stunning. I personally love the amount of effort that went into the battle ability, if you zoom in on your troops you can actually see them dueling, not just a 50/50 chance or whatever, but instead you see blocks, rolls, and much more and it brings a certain life to the game that just really allows you to be in the moment. Buy it or don't, it may be over a decade old but it still is one of my favorite games. The only downside is the price, for a decade old game I feel it should be cheaper.
