Tormenture is a psychological horror game where you play as a child trapped in a cursed 8-bit game with a dark secret. To survive, you must find four relics and solve reality-blurring puzzles. But beware—some creatures may escape the game and haunt you in the real world. A game within a game.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Tormenture is a psychological horror game that takes players on a dark and immersive journey, complete with a shocking twist.
In Tormenture, you step into the role of a young child drawn by rumors of a cursed 8-bit horror game. According to legend, the developers of this game made a pact with the devil to achieve eternal life, triggering terrifying consequences. Alone in the dark, you confront eerie, mind-bending paranormal events as you dive deeper into a game that blurs the boundaries between nightmare and reality.
To unravel the game’s mysteries and avoid getting trapped within it, you must locate and gather four sacred relics, guiding you north across a sprawling map filled with complex puzzles—some of which bridge the line between the virtual and real worlds. But beware, for some creatures may break free from the screen and haunt the shadows of your own reality.
Tormenture is inspired by classic horror games, featuring nostalgic mechanics and controls in a fully immersive 3D environment. It’s truly a “game within a game,” designed to keep you questioning what’s real and what’s not.
A tribute to 8-bit classic games, Tormenture transports you to the 80’s, to a child’s room in which you will be playing the cursed game and interacting with classic toys like the Speak’n Spell, a Stereo, the Guess Who? and many others that will help you unlock hidden secrets.

Honestly I just can't say much that's good here, it's a buggy, boring, and overall not fun game with a plot that's kind of been done to death.

Great game
Ta entrete
Mola bastante la dinámica de entrelazar puzles dentro del juego y fuera. Los de fuera del juego, para mi gusto, en general son bastante crípticos y cuesta saber como encararlos, pero en lo general ha sido una buena experiencia.
Brilliant retro puzzle adventure. More please.
As an homage to all things of the Atari 2600 era, I give this game an A+ rating. It was a fun experience from the start. There are... a few glitchy parts of the gameplay that took me out of it, but those were kind of rare. I guess I can't say this game is for everyone, but for any frustrations I might have had I really enjoyed it.
good game
El jefe final igual hay que darle un repasito
