Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 10 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Tormentum II is a dark, surreal point-and-click adventure with elements of psychological horror. Explore a hand-drawn world, solve puzzles, and make morally ambiguous choices that shape the fates of the characters you meet. It tells a new, standalone story, so no knowledge of the original game is required.

You play as David, who is building a simulation populated by beings capable of human-level thought. Every night, he dreams of a locked chest and hears a woman's voice calling to him. When an anonymous seller offers him a mysterious coprocessor, parts of the dream begin to surface while he is awake.
David installs the new hardware. He wakes in a prison on an island surrounded by open sea. Somehow, he is inside his own simulation.

David remembers little about how he arrived. He soon discovers that his creation contains layers he never designed and has a will he cannot control.
The inhabitants speak of gods, beings that come from distant places and disappear just as suddenly.
To find a way home, David must cross the islands, explore the unfamiliar layers of his creation, and discover why it no longer obeys him. Explore each location at your own pace. Conversations and puzzles gradually reveal more about the simulation.
Your choices shape the fates of the characters David meets. There is rarely an obvious right answer, and your decisions lead to multiple endings.
Point-and-click exploration and puzzles across multiple surreal islands.
Choices with consequences that shape the fates of the characters you meet and lead to multiple endings.
200 hand-drawn scenes. Dedicated close-ups bring the total to nearly 500 individual background images, roughly three times as many as in the original game.
Surreal art inspired by H. R. Giger's biomechanical forms and the desolate worlds painted by Zdzisław Beksiński.
6 to 9 hours of gameplay, depending on your pace.
A dark, atmospheric soundtrack with occasional heavier passages influenced by metal.
A complete, standalone story. No knowledge of the original game is required.

We spent almost eight years making Tormentum II. The core development team consists of two people: Piotr Ruszkowski and Łukasz Rutkowski, both of whom helped create the original Tormentum: Dark Sorrow.

all I can say is that I wasnt expecting that much from this game given years long radio silence around studio and the project itself, but these guys did it AGAIN. another masterpiece from OhNoo, and a worthy successor of original Tormentum - great world building, compelling story and puzzles that feel just right. If you liked Tormentum - you'll love this game, if you havent played Tormentum so you wont know if you'll like this game - then play it and then play Tormentum II. 9/10 from me and I hope we wont have to wait until 2088 for third installment
Blade Runner? No LIQUIIIIIDDDDD!!!!!
This is my first review in my blog in the English language, but it will be the first extended review I will do in Steam. The developer was very kind to give me a key of the game, and as an amateur videogame reviewer, so I want to congratulate him for giving me this opportunity at random. According to the developers and the studio, there are 200 hand-drawn scenes, plus dedicated close-ups that bring the total to nearly 500 individual background images, roughly three times as many as in the original game. Everything is inspired on renown authors like H. R. Giger and Zdzisław Beksiński. You don’t need to play the original Tormentum - Dark Sorrow , because both games are standalone stories and you don’t require to play any of them first, or even play them in order. Unfortunelly, the game isn't translated to SPANISH...
🎮 Gameplay
There’s not much to say about the mechanics of games who are in this genre we call “Point and Click” because it’s name already describe them. Nevertheless, the game is very kind of giving you clues that David(your player avatar) draws and there are puzzles and things you need to keep up and note on your own, like most of these kind of games.
📘 Story
Being this game a point and click, the game has a narrative that makes you think a lot because the writing is very suggestive. The setting is a world destroyed by ultra-capitalism in a way that reminds me of Blade Runner, Cyberpunk or Final Fantasy VII. So much, that humanity depends on machines(sorry about the word I’m going to use but, hehe clankers). David, your avatar/the protagonist, is having dreams and nightmares about very weird places with satanic and occultist aesthetics. He is a programmer who’s work is based around on VR and simulation, but something happens! Now is up to you! When you start playing, I can assure you that you will have a different interpretation of the narrative or you will be as confused as I was.
🎨 Audiovisual & Arts
The huge and exhausting work that the two creators Łukasz Rutkowski & Piotr Ruszkowski did, is something that you will appreciate because the game is filled with terrific/scary and very well made paintings. Not only that because the backgrounds are also so good that also great paintings, the character design was very coherent, cohesive and have adequacy according the rest of the art because there isn’t anything out of place. Finally, most of the time the game has background music that was decent and never upset me, neither felt repetitive. But I’ll highlight the few heavy metal songs because they rock!
🌟 Final Thoughts
I’m someone who haven’t played in a serious way in a while a “Point & Click”, yet between the amazing art and the developers reaching to me I just had to at least play it to the end like I usually do. Not everything was perfect because there was a brief moment that I was lost for almost an hour because I didn’t saw that there was a key in a location because I was mesmerized with the art and had similar colors to the floor(the Island that has two witches, a fisherman and a man-bird). Nevertheless, I played the game while being very busy in general. Thanks of the game letting you save at every single moment, and then realizing too late that I should had saved some points because I regret some decisions I made without thinking too much. Still, I’m happy that I had a unique ending, while I still don’t know about what was real or not in the narrative. Thanks for reading my review!
gud
Cool Adventure game with Dark Souls aesthetics. Puzzles arent too hard so you wont get frustrated. Art and Music are top noch grim dark
130+ plus screenshots on my initial 10hr run, there's a lot of cool art to see in TII; that insatiable hunger for biomechanical art & surreal fantasy atmo that many will carry with them unto death is adequately tailored to. The cast are fun and plot suitably obscure, both even a bit charmingly auto-biographical, and while I don't think it's possible to see everything without foresight(NG+?) or reloads a few choices could've been clearer: twice my selected choices mismatched my intended decisions. The music & sound are also there, their application matches the paired art, but these haunting island landscapes are better off with some favourite dark ambiance or dungeon synth instead. Overall TII is the software equivilent of a homecooked meal: thoughtful, humble, sexy, fictional, and silicon-based.
