Sadly, my #1 favorite ARPG of all time. I had hundreds of hours in this on my alt account when I was a kid, however, as with many ARPG games these days, there are achievements locked behind hardcore mode. I refuse to have anything to do with hardcore in a video game and, to all the people who love hardcore games, good for you, keep playing hardcore... I ain't having fun. If dying in a video game is like dying in real life, then what is the difference between the two. This was the last good THQ Nordic game before they kamikazed the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Torchlight license into the ground. If you can get past the fact you will never have all the achievements, it's a very fun ARPG with beautiful graphics. The second act is my favorite.
No quality of life, everything based on MOD while you will have tons of issues with MODs stack with each other. Can not recommend this game while nowadays there are many other ARPG options available.

Никогда не любил игры типо Diablo, но с этой игрой особые чувства. Очень низкий порог вхождения, даже я в юном возрасте разобрался в чужом для себя жанре, и мне понравилось. Прошли полностью с братом, все карты позачищали и развили своих персонажей до пределов.

My gosh that is was fun. Games like this that don't force you into holding back and learn at your own pace. I don't care for game movies as introduction to games. And this game lets me run through the forest and have a dog pet and I just killed things with clicks and picked up things with same click. YES! More please.. Finally my curiosity got to the best of me and I slowed down to run back to where the start of the game is and get the quest and made it to base camp 2, and started second quest and maybe side mission. Did some trading but left most thing alone until they have to be messed with. Really amazed at the quality and mindless fun this game is providing me. Enjoying for sure. I loved getting upgrades for my pet dog, etc. Love to see where i can take my dog as far as new things. 3-30-26 A nice break of bad games and demos, to find this game overwhelming at first and then sinks right into place for a really nice light journey exploration and questing game. Thank you. Fun.
I've had this game for over 10 years and go through phases where I play often then come back to it again later. Fun, mindless dungeon crawl game. The new mapworks gives me more to do since completing the main quests.

Kenne Torchlight 1, nur kurz Torchlight 2 angespielt und ratz fatz wieder süchtig. Kein Grafik-Problem für meine einfache Intel ARC A 380 Grafikkarte. Das Game erklärt sich von alleine, der Einstieg für Anfänger ist ohne dickes Handbuch möglich. Habe eine gute Wahl getroffen. Gruß J.G
