Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 6 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Honestly a very good game, Better than most modern FPS games. In this one you cant go in guns blazing or youll die, But you actually have to plan your movements and think before you act. Realistic game not accounting the graphics

Still a solid challenge. Every mission is difficult and fun. Not as tedious as swat or R6III.
Pure Nostalgia! Great game that started it all. Highly recommend.
A partisan soloed all of my squad with a Ak-47 from the top of a mountain great game would play tomorrow 10/10
I really wanted to like the original Ghost Recon. I can see why it became a classic, and the idea behind it is still great: multiple squads, different classes, planning routes, covering sectors, positioning your men and approaching every firefight tactically. The problem is that the game constantly sabotages its own tactical gameplay. Cover and terrain feel completely unreliable. I've had enemies shooting at me through rocks, while my own AI teammates were happily firing through the ground at enemies they somehow knew were there. At that point, what exactly am I supposed to do with all this tactical planning? If I can't trust a massive rock between me and the enemy to actually be a massive rock, positioning becomes meaningless. Squad management doesn't help either. The game gives you several teams and expects you to coordinate them in real time, but actually controlling them is incredibly clumsy. The tactical map is overloaded with micromanagement while simultaneously lacking the precise and convenient commands you actually need. Instead of feeling like I'm commanding trained soldiers, I feel like I'm babysitting several groups of suicidal idiots. And that's the most frustrating part: Ghost Recon demands patience, careful positioning and tactical thinking from the player while its own AI and engine frequently refuse to play by the same rules. I don't mind old graphics. I don't mind hardcore difficulty. I don't mind dying from one or two bullets. In fact, that's exactly what I wanted from this game. What I do mind is being killed through terrain, watching teammates engage enemies through the ground, fighting the squad controls more than the actual enemy, and then being told that this is "tactical realism." There is a genuinely great tactical shooter buried in here, and I understand why people loved it in 2001. But playing it today without nostalgia, I found myself fighting the game itself far more often than fighting the enemy. Eventually I realized I wasn't having fun anymore. Not recommended.
The best of the best. I have played this game since it's release in 2001. It is now 2026. I originally played on GameSpy on the IGS ladder, ranking with the best players globally. Our team (Virtual Fighters) were on the top of the ladder, multiple times. Everything is perfect about this game. Campaign, quick mission and multiplayer modes are all excellent. There is still yet to be a tactical shooter that gets even close to GR. in my opinion. If you want to play multipalyer, you still can. LAN is easy, and online you just do some port forwarding on your router settings. There aren't many dedicated servers out there anymore, but you can still find people to play with in 2026. You really should get the expansion packs Desert Seige and Island Thunder to complete the game. They feature some excellent additional single player Campaigns, and they add more maps for multiplayer too. Also, for multiplayer games, make sure you (and your friends) download "Super Grid maps" and "Total Random Respawn" add ons found on ghostrecon.net. It was actually compulsary to have these add ons installed when playing on the IGS ladder. Grid maps places numbered and lettered grids on the command map, so you can pinpoint locations for your team mates on comms & chat. Total random respawn means that players aren't respawning in the same place every time they respawn. A really neat feature in multiplayer "Team" mode is being able to have up to Four different teams. So you can play a 2v2v2v2, for example. Good for the big maps. For both Single Player and Multiplayer modes, in the game options screen, I highly recommend to turn the threat indicator off, for the best experience. The game may seem a bit slow and difficult at first, but after a few tweaks with your controls, and when you fully understand how to play and know how to use the equipment and maps effectively (especially in multiplayer mode), you'll be hooked! P.S. Sensors are your friend.
