Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon®

You know what. It still holds up. I'll admit I have some nostalgia for this game, and when I was lying in bed dying from the flu and bought it on a whim - I thought that's all I'd be getting. A shot of nostalgia from my youth. But I under estimated Ghost Recon. The requirement for focus and concentration, and how violently you are punished for trying to 'COD' your way through the game makes for a good change of pace from modern shooters. The game looks decent enough to not make you want to put it down, and the missions have enough variability for the game's length to keep you engaged. While you can definitely try and solo each mission with a single squad, there is a deep satisfaction in using your full team - having your squads well placed, setting up firing lanes and methodically taking objectives. Throughout its missions, the game explores pacing. Ghost Recon offers the sniper experience, but also has you trying to escort tanks through buildings - and if you think they will slow down to let you clear the buildings ahead... you are sadly mistaken. If you want a blast from the past that can still give you a good time, this is a game worth booting up.

Es sin duda la entrega insignia de Ghost Recon, este juego, a pesar de sus gráficos antiguos, presenta un modo de juego dinámico y realista (heridas y bajas) que es difícil de igualar. Para los nuevos recomiendo tomarse el tiempo de conocer y asignar bien a su propio gusto las teclas, en especial, cambio de armas, correr y cambiar entre soldados. También tomarlo con calma y conocer a profundidad como funcionan las opciones de mando de escuadrón. Un juego 100% recomendado.
