Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Aug 26 → 7/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've never played any of the previous games in the franchise before, nor I am that into racing games as a whole. Yet somehow, this has become one of my favourite games now. The main gameplay loop has you running around the same stretches of highway, challenging other racers to stay ahead and deplete their health (SP). There are some alterations to the formula introduced later on, like back-to-back battles, or battles with multiple opponents, but it largely stays the same from start to finish. This could put off some, people, especially in the beginning, where the huge amount of opponents to race in stage 1 can make things seem repetitive. For others though, this isn't that bad. Especially in the beginning parts, this can be more of a laid-back game, just casually working your way through the teams. I even had YouTube on in the background for much of my time playing this (you don't need to do this, the music in this game is pretty good). I would say from stage 3 onwards, where the speed of duels start to really ramp up, is where the game starts to get really exciting. Now you have to pay real attention to the normal drivers and the bends of the road. One bad crash is more than enough to be taken out of the race. And in the late and post-game races, it feels like you're just flying down the road. You need to get good with minute steering adjustments, otherwise your car will literally go flying. The final boss and final final boss fights were some of the most excitement I've had playing a game in a while. If you are at all curious about this game, I would highly recommend it.

Too unbalanced, which is impossible to complete the boss without having to enable the 'Perk Tree Restriction' mode. This game has failed to keep the balance fair for everyone who is trying to challenge the rivals with fair system. Other than that this game is well optimized, runs well even on Steam Deck. However, not recommended unless you don't care about enabling 'cheat mode' to get past through Chapter 2. I am starting to regret why I even bought this game.
A+ 10/10 100% 👍🙌 that’s all I have to say about this game greatness!!
One of the most repetitive and boring games I've ever played. For some context, I enjoy simcade racers from the 7th console generation (Forza, Project Gotham Racing), as well as Dirt Rally. This game's handling is very arcadey, similar to something like Need for Speed. The cars feel glued to the road surface, and it seems a grip style of driving is usually the only viable option (as opposed to drifting), largely due to the extremely limited track styles: long straights and slight curves. Because you are limited to driving on Tokyo highways, there is extremely little variation in track/road layout. The Tokyo scenery is cool for about 30 minutes, but then gets extremely boring. The game consists of one-on-one races (initiated by flashing lights); it's like if you made an entire game out of the head-to-head races in Forza Horizon (a small side feature in that game), but only allowed driving on the highway. I've never played such a restrictive racing game.
Seasoned WMMT player, however I have no nostalgic connection to any previous titles in this series. Really did try to give it a chance, but the following just prevent it from actually being fun: Gameplay is repetetive and boring. Single player only. Certain quests and requirements will require you to look up guides or videos in order to understand. The UI and navigation are extremely frustrating and make no sense at times. Skill tree system difficult to understand. Brake screeching sound requires external mod to disable, the menu select sound is annoyingly loud with no way to turn off. With the timing of FH6 release, I have not even thought about playing this game again whatsoever. Rarely goes on sale and even when it's does it's still too overpriced.
