Between our world and the world beyond lie the Titan Souls, the spiritual source of all living things. Scattered amongst the ruins and guarded by the idle titans charged with their care, a solitary hero armed with a single arrow is assembling shards of the Titan Soul in a quest for truth and power.

Titan Souls

Time Played:
26 Minutes
Last Played:
23rd of January, 2026

Waiting for Terraria 1.4.5 Volume 20: Souls of the Titans
Yay:
+ I liked the art. + I'm not sure any other dedicated Boss Rush video games existed before this, outside of Stretch Panic. + The World/universe generated intrigue
Meh:
~ Nothing found.
Nay:
- Literally the first thing that happened in-game outside of the title screen popping up showed the options menu not displaying the sound, or SFX volume, and me exiting out to see the logo had been partially cut off. Even on fully-restarting the game, this was not fixed. - You die in a single hit, which normally would not be an issue, but of the less than 4 bosses I attempted, barely any of those felt like my fault. - Both Run, and roll are bound to the same button, meaning you do the first before the second starts. - On the first titan you can see the door to, even hitting it at the largest size took 4 attempts, and each of those look like I hit it. - The right one in the same area was also way too fast to even try to hit for me. On successfully rendering it vulnerable, yet another near-point-blank shot missed, and I died. - I do admit that taking time to draw a bow would very much be realistic, but you're frozen in-place while doing so, and at the speed all but one of the bosses fought before abandoning this one move, this seems more like “Because hard” than “realistic gameplay experience. - Due to the “Roll then run” order, one of these attempts ended with me launching myself into a blob. - It also emits particles that slow you down, making this even more of a herculean task. - I deem most of the achievements to be “pants on-head” levels of ridiculous. Merely trying to divide half of the “Sludge Titan” was something that took an entire 6 attempts, and when the blobs all seem to bounce around without specifically targetting the player, that's made even more unnecessarily-hellish. The others also require you to not only speedrun the thing in 20 minutes, but play through the game at least 4 separate times. I don't think the game is all that long if you play it enough to know the very frame you can beat X titan on, but to us non-computers, I don't find that even slightly reasonable.

Verdict:
Admittedly, this one landed exactly where I thought it would. The lore still very much still intrigues me, but I felt no need to torture myself with a fundamentally-flawed experience to find more pieces of it. Such a thing as “hard, but fair” exists, and to me, this was entirely “screw the player over at every opportunity, and barely give them the tools for success after clubbing both kneecaps.” All of the bosses I tried to fight moved way too fast, you shot way too slow, are needlessly locked in-place while trying to do so, and the fact every modern controller has at least 3 readily-accessible face buttons, but you need to blast yourself across the screen every time you want to run tells me this was a game that was designed to be difficult for the difficulty alone. The fact the achievements are more war medals than anything feasibly-doable also does not help my opinion.
Placed in:
4: Dourly-Dismissed.

Every market we collect.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Jul 25 → 3.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Morro toda hora, recomendo
Satisfying and varied boss fights throughout nearly the whole game (sadly a final boss doesn't hold the standard) with beautiful pixel art and a really compelling world. The 'one hit kill' game loop really did it for me, although I can see the fast boss fights (either a quick win or loss) might be overly frustrating for some. Titan Souls is a really unique take on the 'Souls-Like' that's well worth your time.

Em dobra gra
