Wonderlands has something special to offer the Borderlands series. The addition of spells, enhanced melee, two abilities per class, and multi-classing is fantastic. There is a flow within the chaos of all the added mechanics that is really fun and engaging. There is so much potential in build creativity. If one of your favorite aspects of the genre is theory crafting a unique build to fit your playstyle from all the mechanics available- please give this game a good try. Even if you aren't a fan of the setting, tone, and/or characters- try to push past that. Thankfully I am a fan of the setting and characters, although I can certainly understand it being unappealing to others. Tiny Tina's presence is always a plus in a Borderlands game, and the addition of Will Arnett voicing the main villain who is constantly breaking the 4th wall- to me- is quite fun. Some of the side characters are a bit tedious, and a good portion of the humor falls into the realm of dad jokes- but if you don't mind, they end up having a lot of fun with this spoof of the TTRPG world. 8/10
its fun and adds depth to the borderlands universe. but you have to play all the games to understand this one.
As you fire it up it screams these people that made this do not know how PC's function or don't know how people US their PC's. MUTE it. It will start with audio that will blow your speakers with no ability to turn it down or off. EVERYTIME you fire it up for as long as you play. Cause the UI is made by Tina and unlikely you will bother to get very far.
